Gosaikunda Rural Municipality, Office of the Rural Executive, Syafrubesi, Rasuwa, Bagmati Province, Nepal Notice for Staff Recruitment

Gosaikunda Rural Municipality (Gaupalika) is implementing the Safe Migration (SAMI) Program to ensure that foreign employment is safe, organized, and dignified.

To facilitate this program in Rasuwa, the municipality aims to provide information related to safe foreign employment, assist with issues related to foreign employment, provide psychosocial counseling services, and conduct awareness programs on safe foreign employment.

For this purpose, the following positions must be filled on a contract basis. Interested and eligible Nepali citizens are invited to fill out the application form and submit it to this office within 15 days from this notice's publication date.

Position: Migrant Resource Center Counselor (Preference for Women)
- Number of Positions: 1
- Level: Fifth
- Qualifications:
  - Must have passed Class 12 (+2) from a recognized institution and have at least three years of work experience in counseling or community transformation.
  - Preference will be given to candidates with qualifications in legal subjects and experience in safe foreign employment.
  - Must be at least 22 years old and not exceed 40 years by the last date of application.
  - Must not be disqualified by prevailing laws to apply for government services.
  - Basic knowledge of computers is required.
  - Proficiency in both Nepali and English, written and spoken, is required.
  - Candidates with local residency are preferred for this position.

Position: Psychosocial Counselor (Women)

- Qualifications:
  - Must have completed a Health Assistant or Staff Nurse course from a recognized institution or hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or Health Education.
  - Must have completed a six-month psychosocial counseling training from a National Health Training Center or similar, with a preference for experience working with women.
  - Must be at least 22 years old and not exceed 40 years by the last date of application.
  - Must not be disqualified by prevailing laws to apply for government services.
  - Basic knowledge of computers is required.
  - Proficiency in both Nepali and English, written and spoken, is required.
  - Candidates with local residency are preferred for this position.

- Qualifications:
  - Must have passed at least Class 8 and have at least one year of work experience in foreign employment (Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, or Malaysia).
  - Preference will be given to those with work experience in safe foreign employment.
  - Must not be disqualified by prevailing laws to apply for government services.
  - Candidates with local residency are preferred for this position.

Additional Information:

Duration of Service: Initially until the end of 2082 Ashadh. The contract may be renewed based on the program's needs and work performance evaluation.
Type of Examination:
- For the Migrant Resource Center Counselor and Psychosocial Counselor: Written test, practical exam, and interview.
- For the Returnee Volunteer: Written test and interview.
Salary and Benefits: As per the program's rules and regulations.

Selection Process:
- Only candidates shortlisted in the preliminary selection will be included in the written, practical, and interview examinations.
- Positive discrimination will be applied to ensure the inclusion of marginalized communities, especially women, Dalits, indigenous people, Madhesi, and minority groups.
