Gharapjhong Rural Municipality (Gaupalika), Office of the Rural Executive, Jomsom, Mustang Notice Regarding Contractual Recruitment

For the current fiscal year 2081/82, Gharapjhong Rural Municipality requires the following personnel to be recruited on a contract basis. Minimum Educational Qualifications:

a) Engineer (Civil): Must have a Bachelor's degree (B.E.) in Civil Engineering from a recognized educational institution and must be registered with the Engineering Council.

b) Veterinary Doctor: Must have a Bachelor's degree in B.V.Sc. & AH or equivalent from a recognized educational institution and must be registered with the Veterinary Council.

c) Sub-Engineer (Civil): Must have a certificate level or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized educational institution.

d) Employment Assistant: Must have passed at least Proficiency Certificate Level or equivalent from a recognized educational institution and must have completed at least three months of basic computer skills training.

e) Psychosocial Counsellor: Must meet the qualifications specified by the training curriculum developed by the National Health Training Center and approved by the Ministry of Health. Qualifications include a degree in Health Assistant, Staff Nurse, or a Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, B.Ed. in Health Education, or a Post Graduate Diploma in Counseling. Preference will be given to female candidates.

f) Counselor (Migrant Resource Center): Must have passed at least +2 or equivalent and have at least two years of experience in social mobilization. Computer knowledge is mandatory.

g) Na.Pra.S. (Agriculture): Must have passed SLC/SEE or equivalent and have received at least one year of J.T.A. (Agricultural Science) training or have passed SLC/SEE or equivalent in Agriculture from a recognized educational institution.

h) Na.P.S. Pra. (Livestock): Must have passed SLC/SEE or equivalent and have received at least one year of J.T.A. (Animal Science) training or have passed SLC/SEE or equivalent in Animal Service from a recognized educational institution.

i) Office Assistant: Must have passed at least class 8 and priority will be given to citizens who are permanent residents of Ward No. 1.

Age: As of the last date of application submission, the applicant must be at least 18 years old and not exceed 35 years (for male candidates) or 40 years (for female candidates). For the position of Employment Assistant, the age limit is up to 45 years.

Application Form and Fee: The application form can be obtained from the municipality's website at https://gharapjhongmun.gov.np/ or from the office. The specified fee must be deposited in the Internal Revenue Account No. 06803000001001000001 at Nepal Bank Limited, and the original voucher or cash receipt must be submitted with the application form. For applications submitted via email, the original documents must be presented during the written examination.

Salary: For the position of Office Assistant, the monthly salary is NPR 15,000/- and for other positions, it will be as per the basic salary scale determined by the Government of Nepal for the respective level.

Examination Date: The examination schedule will be published later by the Rural Municipality.

Shortlisting: The names of eligible candidates will be shortlisted and published by the Rural Municipality.

Written and Practical Examination Curriculum: The curriculum for the respective positions will be as prescribed by the Public Service Commission and as per the procedures/guidelines/standards related to the respective program.
