Government of Nepal Announces Executive Director Vacancy at Alternative Energy Promotion Center

The Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation in Nepal has announced a vacancy for the position of Executive Director at the Alternative Energy Promotion Center (AEPC) through an open competition. The announcement has been made under Section 7 of the Alternative Application Development Committee Formation Order, 2053. Qualifications and Experience Required

Interested Nepali citizens with the following minimum educational qualifications and experience are eligible to apply:

• A master's degree in economics, management, engineering, or application-related subjects from a recognized educational institution.
• At least 10 years of working experience in the field of alternative energy.

Candidates must submit the following documents and details to the Administration Division of the Ministry within 15 days from the date of the first publication of the notice:

• Detailed personal information, including educational qualifications, work experience, training, and contact address, signed by the candidate.
• Copies of certificates of Nepali citizenship, educational qualifications, and work experience, certified by a notary public.
• A 4-year business plan proposal that includes the current situation, potential, challenges, and strategies of alternative energy promotion in Nepal. The proposal should not exceed 2000 words and should be written in Times New Roman, Font Size 12, or Nepali Unicode, Font Size 11. More detailed information can be included in the schedule if required.
• Consent from the concerned organization if currently employed.
• Self-declaration in the prescribed format.
