Excel Development Bank Limited, a Province Level Development Bank, operating with excellent track record of 16 years and wide range of branch network, having its Head Office at Birtamode, lhapa, invites applications from highly dynamic, pragmatic, committed and performance oriented Nepalese Citizens to lead the Bank as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The CEO shall be responsible for the overall strategic leadership and management of the Bank and shall be accountable to the Board of Directors.
The key responsibilities shall be as outlined in the Bank and Financial Institutions Act. 2073 and Unified Directives No. 6 issued by the Bank and Financial Institutions Regulation Department, Nepal Rastra Bank, in 2078 including formulating and implementing effective strategic plan, providing strategic direction and leadership for the achievement of the Bank's vision, mission, strategies, and annual goals, representing the Bank externally and building and nurturing sound relationship with all the stakeholders of the Bank.
The CEO is expected to lead the Bank in such a way that the Bank could use international best banking practices, maintain high level of good governance, manage the risk optimally, satisfy the customers, create good working and career developing opportunities to the employees, provide reasonable return to the shareholder and emerge as the most trusted, resilient & successful banking company of Province-1 from the eyes of all the stakeholders of the Bank in the short & long term.

Qualification & Experience
Candidate must:
- Be eligible to be appointed as the CEO of a Development Bank as per prevailing laws and NRB Regulations;
- Possess minimum Master's Degree in Management/Banking/Finance/Economics/ Business Administration;
- Possess at least 10 years experience in Bank and Financial institution in Manager level or above and possess proven experience with an excellent track record in leading, managing and inspiring teams of dynamic professionals:
- Be highly confident, dynamic and visionary;
- Be able to achieve consistent and sound business growth;
- Possess excellent leadership, interpersonal, organizing, analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
Knowledge and Skills
Candidates must:
- Possess extensive knowledge of domestic banking regulations and international best banking practices;
- Thorough knowledge on banking operations, credit management and risk management
- Be able to achieve consistent and sound business growth;
- Proactive leadership to develop and maintain successful long term business growth for the Bank coupled with the ability to anticipate trends and capitalize new opportunities as they arise;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Extensive knowledge of planning, implementation and management of all the activities of the Bank.
