Environment and Rural Development Center (ENRUDEC) Banke is a non-governmental organization established in 1998 with the objective of empowering and uplifting disadvantaged women, adolescents, and children and conservation of the environment. "Health reform project through improved nutrition and water sanitation status in Bardiya District" is a three-year (2023-2026) project funded by MoFA Japan and supported by ADRA Nepal, being implemented in partnership with ENRUDEC. ENRUDEC invites applications from qualified and experienced Nepalese Citizens for the following vacant positions:

1. Job Position: Project Officer- 1 Position

Location: Bardiya

Required Qualifications and Competencies:

Knowledge/Skills

  • Bachelor of Public Health (Master's degree is preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in health projects/programs in rural settings
  • Working experience from NGOs is preferred
  • Previous experience working in MoFA Japan-funded projects would be an asset
  • Good interpersonal communications skill
  • Candidate with Two-wheeler (motorbike) driving license.
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Office Package and database software like SPSS

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all the planned activities are implemented in the districts as per the approved work plan and Detailed Implementation Guidelines.
  • Coordinate with local governments for smooth operations of the project. Advocate with the local governments for funding for the project activities in the cocreation model.
  • Develop monthly, quarterly and annual project reports including event reports and ensure the timely submission to donor.
  • Coordinate with district and local level government stakeholders for planning and implementation of targeted activities.
  • Provide technical support to the district base project team in planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of the field activities in line with the project goal and objectives
  • Make sure that project data is being collected from field regularly, analyze them against quality benchmarks and share with ADRA and other relevant government and non-government organizations
  • Monitor project expenditures and take necessary action to ensure the bum rate is within acceptable limits
  • Ensure proper coordination/communication with ADRA Nepal project team for planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of project interventions.

2. Job Position: Finance and Admin Officer -1 Position

Location: Bardiya

Required Qualifications and Competencies:

Knowledge/Skills

  • Bachelor of Business Studies
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in NGOs (health project is preferred)
  • Knowledge of Accounting Software
  • Understanding of the laws of Nepal related to tax and insurance policies
  • Good computer skilIs including Microsoft Office Package and Accounting Software (like Sun System)

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a record of the overall expenditure of the program activities in accordance with the direction of Project Focal Person and Officer
  • Ensure the financial transactions, payments, and procurements held as per organization policies and donor compliances
  • Prepare and submit financial and admin reports to ADRA Nepal on accounting principles, entry of vouchers/transactions into Sun System Accounting software and production of required financial reports and statements
  • Ensure, develop & maintain income goods, equipment, material, and their posting into the proper ledger.
  • Calculate the taxes on applicable deducted sources, deposit them in timely to the concerned office and maintain E-TDS system.
  • Maintain proper filing and effective documentation of all documents related to finance and administration.
  • Handle cash and treasury operations with advanced use of spreadsheets for tracking expenses and payroll system with tax applications, controls for ensuring proper transactions.
  • Coordinate with ADRA Nepal for financial monitoring and review

3. Job Position: Technical Associate - 4 Positions

Location: Bardiya

Required Qualifications and Competencies:

Knowledge/ Skills

  • PCL in General Medicine (Health Assistant) or Nursing (Staff Nurse)
  • Minimum 1-3 years of working experience in health projects/programs in community settings
  • Working experience from NGOs is preferred
  • Good networking and interpersonal communications skills
  • Self-management skills and willingness to travel in remote areas of project site
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office Package (word and PowerPoint) Key Responsibilities
  • Implement the planned activities in the project sites as per the approved workplan and Detailed Implementation Guideline.
  • Ensure that project interventions are implemented in a quality assured manner and as per the compliances
  • Coordinate with local governments for smooth operations of the project
  • Develop event reports, case studies including media reports and submit to project officer
  • Coordinate with local level government stakeholders for planning and implementation of targeted activities.
  • Ensure the good relationship with stakeholders and build networks with community level stakeholders.
  • Conduct data collection for M&E system of project and assessments
  • Ensure proper coordination/communication with ADRA Nepal project team for planning and implementation of project interventions.
