Since the various posts mentioned in the details for Devadaha Municipality have to be filled by contract staff. This notice has been published for the information of all concerned as per the decision of the Vacancy Committee dated 2078-07-15 to enable the eligible Nepali citizens to apply within 30 (thirty) days from the date of publication of this notice by enclosing all the prescribed documents including the receipt of payment of revenue.

1. Municipal Police Assistant Sub Inspector - ASI (Male) - Assistant Level IV - 1 (one)
2. Municipal Police Jawan (Male) - Unclassified - 2 (Two)
3. Municipal Police Jawan (Female) - Unclassified - 2 (Two)
4. Municipal Police Jawan (Light Driver) (Male) - Unclassified - 1 (One)
1) Minimum Qualifications Required:
(A) Educational Qualification:
(1) For the post of Assistant Sub Inspector: - Passed certificate level or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.
(2) For the post of Police Jawan: - Passed SEE or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.
(B) Nepali citizens.
(C) Not convicted in any criminal charge showing moral turpitude
(D) Height, chest and weight:
(1) Male - Height less than 5 feet 2 inches, chest less than 31 inches when full and 33 inches when full, weight minimum 50 Kg.
(2) Women - Height less than 5 feet, weight minimum 42 Kg.
(E) The eye is not weaker than minus 2 or plus and.
(F) Obtained driver's license of light vehicle driver for police personnel (light vehicle driver).
2) Documents to be included with the application:
A) 1 copy of Nepali citizenship certificate.
(B) 1/1 copy of educational qualification certificate (profit, character, permanent or provisional certificate of each level).
(C) 5 recent passport size photocopies showing both ears.
(D) Certificate of Experience (Certificate of Rehabilitation in the case of reinstated Municipal Police).
(E) Current permanent address opening document.
(F) Certificate of health certified by an approved physician.
(G) Copy of driver's license of light vehicle driver for the post of police constable (light vehicle driver).
3) Age:
(A) For Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of Police: - At least 18 years of age and not exceeding 24 years of age till 1st Baishakh, 2078 BS but not exceeding 35 years of age in case of reinstated Municipal Police.
(B) For police Jawan: - At least 18 years of age and not exceeding 23 years of age till 1st Baishakh, 2078 BS.
4) Application Fee: Rs. 1000 for Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) and Rs. 800 for Jawan Post.
5) Place to submit application: Executive Office of Devadaha Municipality, Caravan, Rupandehi. (Candidates will have to submit the application form in person. Online application will not be accepted.)
6) Last date to apply: 2078-08-15 within office hours.
7) Service facility: As per agreement.
8) Date of Examination: Will be published later.
9) Type of Examination: (a) Preliminary Health Examination / Physical Fitness Examination, (b) Detailed Health Examination Examination, (c) Written Examination and (d) Interview.
Note: In addition to the type of examination for the Municipal Police Jawan (light vehicle driver) at Point No. 9, there will also be additional experimental examination for the driver.
10) Contract period: Until the end of Ashad, 2079.
11) Other matters shall be in accordance with the Municipal Police Act, 2076 and prevailing law of Devadaha Municipality

The results will be published after the completion of the examination of each stage and only the successful candidates will be included in the examination of the next stage.
Candidates recommended for appointment will be required to submit a certificate of conduct.
