Department of Transport Management Notice for Contract Service:

For the work related to the high security embossed number plate to be attached to the vehicles, the following services are required by the Department of Transport Management under the service-contract; Interested firms, institutions, or companies licensed and registered for value-added tax are invited to apply for sealing subject to the following conditions.

1. Contract Service Requirement Details:

A. Register Assistant (Darta Sahayak)

Required No. 4 (Four)

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination and have training and experience in operating MS Office, Internet, Computer Peripherals (including camera, scanner, and printer).

B. Enrollment Operator

Required No. 11 (Evelven)

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination and have training and experience in operating MS Office, Internet, Computer Peripherals (including camera, scanner, and printer).

C. Storekeeper

Required No. 3 (Three)

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination and have training and experience in operating MS Office, Internet, Computer Peripherals (including camera, scanner, and printer).

D. Mechanics

Required No. 11 (Evelven)

Required Qualifications and Skills:

S.E.E. (Technical) or similar pass and general skills related to work done in a vehicle workshop. Gain experience in identifying engine number and chassis number of different models of vehicles.

E. Runner

Required No. 4 (Four)

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Passed class ten and have general knowledge about office work.

Additional Informaiton:

2. Regular office hours will have to be provided to the offices within the Kathmandu Valley specified by this department. The service period will start from 15 days from the date of the agreement and will be for a maximum of 6 months and can be extended as per the requirement of the department.

3. In addition to the minimum number mentioned above, if the department demands an additional amount of service for the transport management offices inside or outside Kathmandu, the service will have to be provided at the rate as per the agreement.

4. Certificate of the firm, organization or company, renewed labor supply license, VAT registered certificate, a certified copy of tax payment certificate up to FY 2075/76, and Revenue Code No. 1000200010000 of Rastriya Banijya Bank, Teku, Kathmandu under Revenue Title 14229 Office Code of this Department 337033501 Mentioning that Rs.3000 / - (three thousand) fee has been deposited along with the original voucher and documents can be obtained from this department by 2077-06-08.

5. A properly filled proposal should be sealed with the envelope in the envelope and addressed to this department on the outside of the envelope.

6. The validity period of the sealed proposal should be at least 45 days from the date of opening the proposal (2077/07/24) and with the proposal issued in the name of this department by a category A bank and the proposal should be at least 30 days more than the validity period (2077-08-24). At least Rs. 120,000 / - (one lakh twenty thousand rupees) bank guarantee (offer security) has to be submitted.

7. The sealed proposal will be opened in the department on 2077-06-09 at 13:00 under the guidance of the representative of this department and the present proposer or his / her representative. Even if the proposer or his / her representative is not present, there will be no obstacle in opening the proposal.

8. In case of public holiday on the last day of purchase, filing, and opening of the sealed proposal, those works will be done immediately after the holiday and at the same time on the day of the office opened.

9. After the approval of the sealed proposal, the proposer concerned with the purchase agreement will have to submit the performance guarantee of at least 12 months issued by the 'A' class bank as per Rule 110 of the Public Procurement Rules 2064.

10. The Department shall have the power to accept or reject the sealed proposal in whole or in part or to cancel the entire procurement process.

11. Proposals purchased in the name of one firm, institution, or company cannot be filed in the name of another firm, institution, or company.

12. Other matters relating to procurement shall be as provided in the prevailing procurement law.
