Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, Nepal Announces Vacant Board Positions in Dairy Development Corporation (DDC)

The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development in Nepal, located in Singhdarbar, Kathmandu, has officially released a notice inviting eligible candidates to apply for the vacant positions within the Board of Directors of the Dairy Development Corporation (DDC). As per the decision of the recommendation committee, this announcement, first published on 2080/03/14, is a call for competent Nepali citizens to fill these vacancies.

Available Positions

The vacant positions for which applications are being accepted include:

1. Subject Matter Expert Member:

One position is available for candidates with a minimum of ten years of experience in the field and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized educational institution. Applicants must be at least 30 years old.

2. Milk Merchant Member:

One position is available for those with a minimum of five years of experience in the dairy business sector. Applicants must be at least 30 years old.

3. Milk Producer Farmer Member:

One position is available for those with a minimum of five years of experience in dairy production-related business or collective work. Applicants must be at least 30 years old.

Application Submission Process

Interested candidates are required to submit their applications within 21 days from the publication date of this notice, adhering to the Ministry's office hours. The application, along with the necessary documents, should be submitted to the Ministry's Personnel Administration Branch (Board / Corporation Desk) at Sinha Darwar Kathmandu.

Application documents include:

• A copy of the Nepali citizenship certificate
• Copies of educational qualification certificates (and equivalency certificates for foreign university graduates)
• Personal Statement (CV)
• Statement expressing reasons for desiring the nomination
• Proof of eligibility according to Clause 4 of the directive (available on the Ministry's website)
• Other documents showing qualifications and experience issued by government agencies
• Note: All documents must be self-attested and submitted
