Customs Department (Bhansar Bibhag) Vacancy for Customs Agent License:

Government of Nepal, Ministry of Finance, Department Customs (Bhansar Bibhag) Notice of Invitation for Online Application for Customs Agent (Bahnsar Agent) License.

Applications are invited from the following qualified persons for the license of Customs Agent as per Rule 37 Sub-Rule (1) of the Customs Rules, 2064. Interested persons who have reached the required minimum qualification should apply through the link of the online agent system of the customs agent on the website of this Department www.customs.gov.np.

Eligibility Criteria:

(A) Nepali citizen who has reached the age of 21 years.
(B) Passed Bachelor, or equivalent from a recognized educational institution and received at least 3 (three) months basic training in computer.
(C) no amount due to the Government of Nepal,
(D) No criminal charges have been proved by the court. A person pursuant to sub-rule (3) of rule 37 of the Customs Rules, 2064 shall not be required to qualify for the above clause (b).

Type of Examination: - Written and Interview.

Examination Centers: - Examination Centers will be located only within the Kathmandu Valley. Details in this regard will be published later in Gorkhapatra daily and will also be posted on the website of the Customs Department.

 Application Fee: - Rs. 3,000. - (Three thousand rupees only).

The last date to apply: - till 2078-01-05, and double fee paid till 2078-01-12 within office hours. If there is a public holiday on the last day of submission of the application, the application can be submitted within office hours on the day of office opened.

Age limit of the candidate: - Completed 21 years till the last date of application.

Method and place of submission of application: -

To submit the form and necessary documents from the online application system of the department. Candidates who have passed the written examination will have to fill up the application form as per schedule 5 of the Customs Rules, 2064 before appearing in the interview. After the application is approved, the candidates will have to print the admission letter through the online system.

Method of submitting the application Fees:

1) Account No. 1000200010000 of Rastriya Banijya Bank Ltd., Office Code No. 305033501 of Customs Department Tripureshwor, Revenue Code No. 14224 in any of the branch offices of Rastriya Banijya Bank Ltd. The bank voucher should be scanned and uploaded to the application form system, or,

2) To submit the examination fee online, go to https://rajaswa.fcgo.gov.np and register online. Revenue can also be filed through ConnectIPS by generating a voucher of 305033501, Revenue Code No. 14224. The voucher submitted through it should also be scanned and uploaded in the application form.

Documents to upload:

Certificate of Nepali Citizenship, Certificate of Minimum Educational Qualification, Certificate of Computer Training, Required in accordance with sub-rule (3) of Rule 37 of the Customs Rules, 2064 The documents certified by the head of the customs office, the proof of filing the application fee, the photo of the candidate and the signature should be scanned and uploaded at the specified place of the online application system. The candidate himself should be held accountable for the details mentioned in the application.

Date of Written Examination: - The date of the written examination will be published later in Gorkhapatra Daily and will also be posted on the website of the Customs Department.

Date of Interview: - Notice will be given when the result of the written examination is published.

Notes:

(A) The duration of the double fee shall not be calculated for the purpose of age, educational qualification, and other qualifications.

(B) An application that has not been submitted within the prescribed time or has not met the minimum qualification or has not disclosed other specified details or has not paid the prescribed fee will not be accepted.

(C) Writing assistant will not be allowed to take the exam.

(D) Candidates who pass the written examination shall apply for the interview in accordance with Schedule 5 of the Customs Rules, 2064 along with the Certificate of Educational Qualification, Certificate of Nepali Citizenship, Educational Qualifications, and Computer Training. The head of the concerned customs office must submit the original copy of the certified documents and a copy thereof.

(E) Candidates who have studied in a foreign institution should submit proof of equivalence of qualification obtained by the concerned body.

(F) In the examination, the examiness must use only black ink, otherwise the answer sheet will be canceled.

(G) The course can be obtained by downloading from the website of the Customs Department www.customs.gov.np.

(I) Pursuant to sub-rule (5) of the Customs Rules, 2064, within 90 (ninety) days from the date of publication of the result by the person selected through written examination and interview; Rs 7000 for the license fee and Rs. 700,000 in cash, or the equivalent of a bank guarantee, after obtaining a customs agent's license from the customs department.
