CTEVT Vacancy 2081 for Various Positions

Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) Recruitment Committee, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur Notification regarding Open, Inclusive, and Internal Competitive Recruitment.

In accordance with the agreement obtained from the Public Service Commission, for the vacant positions in the following services, groups, sub-groups, and categories under CTEVT and its offices, recruitment will be done through open, inclusive, and internal competitive examinations as per the Council's Employee Service, Conditions, and Facilities Regulations, 2069 (including the sixth amendment).

Therefore, this notification is issued for the information of all concerned to submit the application form online by visiting https://www.ctevt.org.np or https://jobs.ctevt.org.np within 21 (twenty-one) days from the first publication date of this notification (until 2081/04/17) with the regular fee and within an additional 7 (seven) days (until 2081/04/24) by paying double the fee.

Note:

Special Notice Regarding Advertisement: As per the order of the Honorable Supreme Court on the writ petition number 078-WO-0660 dated 2079/10/24, the recruitment will be carried out according to the legal provisions after the decision.

Clear scan copies of the following documents should be uploaded online along with the online application form.

  1. Clear and readable Nepali citizenship certificate of both sides.
  2. Certificates of the required educational qualifications for the advertised post and level.
  3. Certificate of registration in the concerned professional/occupational council for the posts requiring professional council registration.
  4. Equivalence certificate from Tribhuvan University or the concerned body if studied at a foreign educational institution.
  5. Digital copy of the candidate's signature form (jpg/jpeg/png).
  6. Recent passport-size photo showing both ears.
  7. The application form can be submitted by visiting the online application system at the Council’s website https://www.ctevt.org.np or https://jobs.ctevt.org.np.
  8. Candidates applying for more than one advertisement should fill out separate application forms for each advertisement, with the specified separate fee and required documents for each advertisement.
  9. Age Limit: For open competitive examinations, the age limit for the second-level posts should not exceed 40 years, for the third-level posts, it should be 21 years and not exceed 35 years, and for assistant-level posts, it should be 18 years and not exceed 35 years. However, for female and differently-abled candidates, the age limit should not exceed 40 years. The age limit for existing permanent employees of the Council will be as per Rule 22(2) of the Council’s Employee Service, Conditions, and Facilities Regulations, 2069 (including the sixth amendment). There is no age limit for internal competition. "Age" means the age completed on the last date of submission of the application form for any post.
  10. Minimum Educational Qualifications for Internal Competitive Examinations: The qualifications of prospective candidates should be as per Rule 38(1) of the Council’s Employee Service, Conditions, and Facilities Regulations, 2069 (including the sixth amendment) and Rule 40 of the said Regulations.
  11. The period of double fee will not be counted for age, educational qualification, training, experience, and job duration purposes.
  12. Application forms submitted beyond the specified deadline, or without the minimum qualifications, or without the specified details, or without the required fee, or improperly filled out will not be accepted. If such an application form is accepted, it will be automatically canceled at any time.
  13. Separate forms should be filled out for internal and open competitions.
  14. The written exams for open and inclusive categories will be held at the same time.
  15. The syllabus can be downloaded by logging in to the Council’s website https://www.ctevt.org.np. The type, medium, and weight of the examination will be as specified in the syllabus.
  16. If working in the service of the Government of Nepal or an institution owned by the government or international organizations, departmental approval must be mandatorily submitted.
  17. The application fee should be paid to the CTEVT SANOTHIMI account number 1730100000090006 at the National Commercial Bank, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, through Connect IPS or Khalti App.

19. The advertisement number and open/inclusive group selected by the candidate once chosen will not be changed. Therefore, the candidate should make a confident decision at the time of selection.

20. Additional documents to be submitted by candidates for inclusive groups:

(a) For Indigenous/Tribal candidates, documents based on the list of castes listed in the Nepal Indigenous National Foundation Act. If there are multiple surnames within a listed caste, documents certified by the Chief District Officer based on the recommendation of the head of the concerned local level.

(b) For Dalit candidates, the application will be accepted based on the list of castes listed by the National Dalit Commission. If there are multiple surnames within a listed caste, documents certified by the Chief District Officer based on the recommendation of the head of the concerned local body must be submitted.

(c) For Madhesi candidates, documents certified as Madhesi by the institution specified by the Government of Nepal in the Nepal Gazette. Until such an institution is specified, documents certified by the Chief District Officer based on the recommendation of the head of the concerned local level must be submitted.

(d) For disabled candidates, disability identity card issued by the Social Welfare Council or disability identity card issued by the concerned local level mentioning the classification of disability as per Sub-section 3 of Section 4 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2074.

(e) For candidates from backward areas, citizenship certificate obtained from the concerned district mentioning permanent residence in Jumla, Achham, Jajarkot, Bajhang, Bajura, Dolpa, Humla, Mugu, and Kalikot districts as mentioned in Rule 15 (3) (a) of the Council's Employee Service, Conditions, and Facilities Regulations, 2069 (including the sixth amendment), and documents certified by the concerned rural municipality or municipality mentioning permanent residence in the same place.

21. If false information and documents are submitted, the application form will be canceled at any time and legal action will be taken.

22. Candidates who are physically disabled and require an assistant writer must submit an application to the Council's central office at least 7 (seven) days before the written examination; otherwise, the Council office will not be obliged to provide an assistant writer.

23. For matters not mentioned in this notice, the provisions of the Technical Education and Vocational Training Council Employee Service, Conditions, and Facilities Regulations, 2069 (including the sixth amendment), and other prevailing laws will apply.

24. The examination centers for all the posts mentioned above will be in Kathmandu Valley. The written examination for all posts will be conducted by the Public Service Commission. The schedule of the written examination will be as determined by the Public Service Commission.
