CRS International Nepal Vacancy Announcement for Various Positions:
CRS is an international NGO based in the United States that works in over 100 countries to promote human development by responding to major emergencies, fighting diseases, poverty, and nurturing peaceful and just societies. CRS Nepal has been implementing the emergency response and recovery (Including COVID19) program in Nepal, and further plans to extend sustainable livelihood development programs in various districts of Nepal.
Additionally, CRS is implementing USAID supported livelihood technical assistance program Farmer to Farmer (F2F) in Bagmati Province, Province 5, Karnali Province, and Sudurpaschim Province.
The Housing Recovery and Reconstruction Platform (HRRP) led by CRS Nepal since March 2017 has been providing coordination support services across 32 earthquake-affected districts. CRS Nepal is currently looking forward to expanding its support to address the emergency response and recovery needs of the most vulnerable people in the Palpa and Gorkha districts affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
1. Project Manager (1 Position-Based in Palpa):
- Master's Degree in Rural Development, Engineering, Agriculture, Environmental Science, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in project management, ideally in the field of the response, recovery, or development and for an NGO.
- Additional experience may substitute for some education.
- Relevant grant management experience.
- Partner budget monitoring experience.
- Experience working with local government stakeholders at various levels and strengthening community partnerships.
2. Information Management Coordinator (1 Position- Based in Gorkha):
- Bachelor's degree required.
- A Master's degree in Information Management, Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, Environmental Science, or a related field from an accredited academic institution would be a plus.
- Five years of relevant professional experience Staff supervision experience.
- Experience in emergency response in the field of data management, information management.
- Experience in implementing community-based DRR activities and other ICT4D interventions.
- Understanding of accountability towards beneficiary privacy and data protection.
- Experience in relationship management with partner organizations and other key players, including government officials at provincial and local levels.
3. Administrative and Finance Officer (1 Position- Based in Palpa):
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or relevant field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in human resources, fleet, procurement, finance, accounting, or administrative /finance officer level position with progressive responsibilities.
- Experience with an I/NGO preferred. Familiarity with the relevant public donors' regulations a plus.
- Proficient in Excel and experience with Word and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Oracle financial accounting package or similar financial reporting software a plus.
4. Senior Livelihood Officer (1 position-Based in Palpa):
- Bachelor's or master's degree in agriculture, animal husbandry, life sciences, and social sciences.
- Additional qualifications or certificate courses in the area of value chain development, farm extension, financial inclusion, post-harvest management would be a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in any of the following areas of agricultural livelihoods with a focus on farm extension, value chains, market linkages, financial inclusion, enterprise development, private sector engagement for an NGO, private sector, or government.
- Experience monitoring projects and collecting relevant data preferred. Experience in relationship management with partner organizations and other key players, including government officials at provincial and local levels.
- Experience in identifying and supporting volunteers
