Community Support Group Vacancy for Program Officer, MIS Officer, Inreach Worker, and Support Staff:

Community Support Group, Kaski, Pokhara is a non-governmental and non-profit social organization established in 2059 BS and has been working on the issue of HIV and drugs. The organization, which has been working on HIV and AIDS in partnership with the Global Fund, Save the Children since 2012, is operating in Kaski, Baglung, and East Nawalparasi districts in partnership with Save the Children under the Global Fund (New Funding Modality). To fill the vacancies required for injecting drug users (consolidated package service for injecting drug users) program.

We invite applications from the following skilled, experienced, and interested Nepali citizens who have completed the prescribed qualifications.

Required Qualifications:

Program Officer:

  • Passed At least Bachelor Degree in Sociology / Public Health / Management.
  • At least one year of work experience in the field of drugs and HIV and AIDS.
  • Gained proficiency in computer (Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to record and prepare reports (English / Nepali).
  • Has good knowledge about planning and has the ability to make plans and not implement them effectively.
  • Having skills and experience to mobilize human resources and other resources.

MIS Officer

  • Passed at least proficiency level +2 from an educational institution recognized by the Government of Nepal.
  • Ability to manage data/documentation and analyze data.
  • At least one year of work experience in the field of drugs and HIV.
  • Having skills related to supervision.
  • Proficient in computer especially (Microsoft Office) packages.

Inreach Worker:

  • Passed at least 8th class (from a Government of Nepal recognized educational institution).
  • Ability to keep clear records and manage documentation properly.
  • Good knowledge of drug abuse and harm reduction.
  • At least 1-year work experience in the related field. Has the ability to go to work and provide necessary education and skills.

Support Staff:

  • Passed at least grade 10 from an educational institution recognized by the Government of Nepal.
  • 1-year work experience in a related field.
  • Having the ability to record, knowledge of enrollment and materials.
  • Ability to manage office environment cleanly.
