As the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) has approved the National Census 2075 program for the current fiscal year, the National Census, 2078 has to be staffed with contract service in the post and number as per the details for data collection and supervision. Interested and eligible Nepali citizens are invited to submit their applications in accordance with the online manpower recruitment system prepared by the department within 60 days from the date of the first publication of this notice. This information has been published for the information of all concerned.
No action will be taken on applications that are overdue or under due process.

Selection Procedure: Shortlisted on the basis of certain criteria

Qualification:
- For Supervisor: Must have passed Bachelor Degree from a recognized educational institution.
- For Enumerator: Must have Passed 10 + 2 Level
Contract Duration: Two months for Supervisor and one month of Enumerator
Special priority:
(A) A person who can speak, understand and explain the local language in addition to the Nepali language,
(B) Persons with experience or training in national-level census and survey or any work conducted by the department,
(C) Students pursuing a Master's level in data or population subjects or persons who have passed that level.

(A) Certificate of Nepali citizenship,
(B) Passport size photo,
(C) Certificate of Educational Qualification (Transcript),
(D) Certificate of training and experience.
Other information:
1) Place and date of contact: District Census Office of the concerned province. Chaitra 20, 2077 for the supervisor, and Baishakh 15, 2078 for the enumerator.
2) Place of work: Whenever possible, the local level chosen by the candidate.
3) Description of work: The enumerator should collect the data and the supervisor should collect the data and supervise the work.
4) Age: Completed 18 years on the last day of application and not exceeding 40 years (not exceeding 45 years in the case of women).
After studying the applications received, the department may shortlist the candidates on the basis of their experience and educational qualifications and may call the shortlisted candidates for an interview through the concerned State / District Census Office.

Since the District Census Office will be opened in each district from 1st Chaitra, 2077; Application forms can be submitted even during office hours from Chaitra 5 to Chaitra 11, 2077.
