Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) Vacancy for Data Collector and Digitizer:
Government of Nepal, National Planning Commission, Central Statistics Department, Thapathali, Kathmandu
Under the approved National Census Program of the current Fiscal Year of this Department, for the preparation of enumeration maps of the local levels for the Census 2078, to collect and digitize the geographical data, to hire/employ people in contract service in the required posts and numbers.
Eligible Nepali citizens fill in the application form which will be available free of cost from the administration branch of the department within 7 days from the date of first publication of this notice.
This notice has been published for the information of all concerned regarding submission to the same branch. No action will be taken on applications that are overdue or undeveloped.

Documents to be submitted with the application:
1) Certificate of required minimum educational qualification and a certified copy of character certificate.
2) Certified copy of Nepali citizenship.
3) Certified copy of documents proving GIS-related experience for at least 3 months.
4) Special consideration will be given to those who have experience in the national-level census and survey work.
5) Must have computer skills and be able to type Nepali English (including Unicode) well in Microsoft Word and Excel.

5) Examination fee: Cash payment can be submitted to the financial administration branch of the department.

7) Service fee amount: Rs. 28,200.- (Tax will be deducted as per rules). If you have to work hard in the field, a daily travel allowance will be given as per the prevailing rules.
8) After studying the applications received, the department may shortlist the candidates on the basis of their experience and educational qualifications and call them for an interview.
