Education and Human Resource Development Center (CEHRD) has taken a major step towards empowering the education sector in Nepal by inviting consultants to submit proposals for a draft of the "Early Child Development and Education Empowerment Strategy". The center has set a deadline of 23 February 2023 for submission of proposals by consultants with the required qualifications. The selected consultant will be responsible for preparing a blueprint for the collection of benefits for early childhood and education development strategies.
In order to ensure a comprehensive strategy, CEHRD has stressed the importance of collecting suggestions from national and field level workshops, to be held in Dhulikhel and Bardibas respectively. The notes and suggestions collected from these workshops will be included in the strategy draft.
The consultant who is selected must have at least a master's degree in education and a minimum of 5 years of experience as a professor, or in study or research. Special preference will be given to those who have studied higher education with primary child development and education, and who have worked in the field of early child development and education.
The center has emphasized the importance of presenting a preliminary draft report for discussion, which should be followed by a final draft, incorporating the suggestions and content received. The consultant must begin work on 27 February 2023 and complete the project by mid-May 2023.
CEHRD's Early Child Development and Education Empowerment Strategy aims to empower the education sector by focusing on early childhood development and education. The strategy is expected to have far-reaching effects, improving the quality of education, and paving the way for a brighter future for the children of Nepal. The center's initiative will create opportunities for children and families to learn and grow, and will positively impact the country's overall education system.
