Bheri Environmental Excellence Group Vacancy for Programme Officer:
Bheri Environmental Excellence Group (BEE-Group), Banke is a non-partisan, non-profit making independent Non-Government Organization (NGO). It was established in 2000 AD with a great motivation to work in the sector of Human Rights protection and promotion, Environment conservation, and Community Development in Lumbini Province, Karnali Province, and Far-Western Province. BEE-Group invites applications from the interested and eligible candidates, who reliable, accountable, and can deliver results with the highest level of integrity for the following position in implementation of Humanitarian Partnership Platform (HPP) activities funded by Care Nepal.
Post Title: Programme Officer - 1 (One)
Project Duration: Six months
Working Area: Banke District
Minimum Requirements and Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree (preferably Masters) in Social Science/Rural Development/Environment Science with 3 years of work experience in the disaster risk reduction and management sector.
- Proven experience and a good understanding of Disaster Risk Reduction and Management policy and plan formulation at the local level government.
- Good knowledge and skills in the development of training manual and facilitation.
- Have sound knowledge of Gender Equality and Social Inclusion.
- Proven experience of successful capacity-building of subordinate staff and team.
- Strong planning, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication, reporting, and documentation skills in Nepali and English.
- Willing to travel frequently to project locations and sensitize sector agencies and stakeholders on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management and resilience.
- Have good communication and coordination skills with concerned stakeholders and beneficiaries to fulfill the intended objectives and results.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural team across different geographical locations, including providing remote support to field teams/ when required.
- High level of adaptability and initiative.
- Represent the organization at different levels of meetings, workshops, and any other forum as and when necessary.
- Strong willingness to work in COVID-19 Situation.
