Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must fulfill the following criteria to be considered for the City Police DSP position:
- Nationality: Must be a Nepalese citizen.
- Education: Must have graduated from a recognized educational institution or hold an equivalent qualification.
- Age Limit: Candidates should be at least 40 years old but not older than 55 years.
- Experience: Should be a retired Nepal Police Deputy Superintendent of Police or above, Armed Police Force Nepal Armed Police Deputy Superintendent or above, Nepalese Army soldier or have served as a Nepal Police Inspector for a minimum of 10 years.
- Physical Standards:
- For men: Minimum height of 5 feet 2 inches, chest size between 31 - 33 inches, and weight of at least 52 kg.
- For women: Minimum height of 5 feet and weight of 50 kg.
- Eyesight should not be weaker than minus 2 or plus 2.
- Criminal Record: Must have a clean criminal record, with no convictions of moral turpitude.
- Health: Must present a health certificate from a recognized health institution.
- Character: A character certificate issued by the concerned police office is required.
