Bagmati Province University, Secretariat of the Board of Trustees, Hetauda, Makwanpur: Notice Regarding Application Submission for the Vice-Chairperson Appointment of Bagmati Province University

This notice is published to inform all concerned that eligible candidates are invited to apply for the position of Vice-Chancellor of Bagmati Province University, Hetauda.

Applications should be submitted within 15 days from the date of publication of this notice, during office hours, to the Secretariat of the Board of Trustees, Hetauda.

If unable to attend the Secretariat in person, applications can be submitted via email at [email protected] along with the required documents.

Applications that do not meet the criteria or are received after the deadline will not be included in the selection process.

The Provincial Higher Education Act, 2078, Regulations, 2079, the University Statute, 2081, and the Procedure for Recommendation of Vice-Chancellor of Bagmati Province University, 2081, can be downloaded from the website of the Ministry of Social Development, Bagmati Province at www.mosd.bagamati.gov.np.

Required Documents for Application Submission:

1. Application Letter,

2. Curriculum Vitae (CV),

3. Professional Work Plan including the University's Concept (up to 3,000 words),

Additional Documents and Conditions to be Submitted with the Application:

a) Certified copy of Nepali citizenship certificate,

b) Age certificate proving the candidate is under 56 years of age,

c) Certified copy of the Master's degree certificate with at least a second division from a recognized university, and certified copies of higher educational qualifications if applicable,

d) Educational certificates must be equivalent to those from Tribhuvan University,

e) Certified documents proving at least ten years of teaching experience at a university or experience in the government sector,

f) Certified documents of educational administrative experience,

g) Self-declaration of not being convicted by a court of any criminal offense (not disqualified by any law),

h) Self-declaration of not being a member of any political party,

i) The name and signature should only be on the outer cover page of the professional work plan.

j) If the final application submission day falls on a public holiday, applications can be submitted on the next working day within office hours.
