Bagmati Province University, Central Office, Hetauda, Makwanpur Notice Regarding the Submission of Applications for the Appointment of Dean at Bagmati Province University.
This notice informs all concerned that applications are invited from qualified candidates in Engineering or Management for the position of Dean at Bagmati Province University. Eligible candidates meeting the following criteria must submit their applications along with the necessary documents within 15 days from the date of publication of this notice during office hours at the Secretariat of the Board of Trustees of Bagmati Province University, Hetauda.
If applicants cannot physically attend the Secretariat, they may submit their applications via email at [email protected], attaching all the required documents. Applications that do not meet the prescribed format or are submitted after the deadline will not be considered in the selection process.
The Provincial Higher Education Act, 2078, its amendments, the University Regulations, 2079, the University Statute, 2081, and the Dean Selection Criteria, 2081 can be downloaded from the Bagmati Province University website (bagmatiuniversity.edu.np) or the Ministry of Social Development website (mosd.bagamati.gov.np).

Professional Work Plan related to the faculty, including the university's concept (maximum 3,000 words)

Additional Required Documents and Conditions:
a) Certified copy of the Nepali citizenship certificate
b) Proof of age (Must not exceed 56 years)
c) Certified copy of a minimum Master’s degree (Second Division or equivalent) from a recognized university
d) Certified copy of the PhD certificate from a recognized university, along with any higher academic qualifications (if applicable)
e) Certified copies of research papers published in recognized national and international journals, books, and other published materials (original copies must be presented for verification)
f) Documents proving leadership roles (PI, Co-PI, or Member) in international or national research projects, fundraising, and collaborations
g) Proof of work experience in leadership, management, or academic roles, including achievements
h) Certified copies of all academic certificates from secondary level to PhD
i) Foreign university degrees must be equivalent to Tribhuvan University standards
j) Minimum five years of teaching experience in a university-affiliated educational institution, with a certified document proving employment as Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor
k) Declaration of non-involvement in private educational institutions that may conflict with university interests
l) Self-declaration of no criminal record or disqualification under any law
m) Self-declaration of non-affiliation with any political party and a commitment not to engage in politics while holding the position
n) Declaration of not holding a permanent residency permit in a foreign country and confirmation of legal eligibility
