Avasar Equity Limited is a Private Equity/Venture Capital Fund Management Company that has been promoted by Siddartha Bank, Kumari Bank, Sanima Bank, Nepal Bank, and prominent personalities from diverse business sectors of Nepal. Avasar Equity Limited is currently in the incorporation process and will come into operation after getting a license from the Securities Board of Nepal as per Specialized Investment Fund Regulation, 2019. The company is announcing the vacancy for the following positions:

1. Investment Director/Investment Manager

Responsibilities:

Investment Director/Investment Manager shall be responsible to manage the fund's investments in a prudent manner to meet the investment goals for the benefit of the investors and other stakeholders ensuring every investment decision adheres to the investment policy of the fund. S/he shall be responsible for asset allocation, screening and managing investments portfolio strategies, and implementation, monitoring of existing investments. Qualification and Experience: CA or CFA with 10 years of experience relevant to the PEVC Investment Management Functions. For Investment Manager, CA or CFA with S years of experience relevant to the PEVC Investment Management Functions.

2. Finance and Operation Manager

Responsibilities: The Finance & Operations Manager shall handle the Finance and Accounts of the Company as well as the Funds to be managed by the Company. S/he will be responsible for all the functions related to accounts, finance, and audit of the Company and the Funds. Responsibilities also include handling HR and Administration of the Company and providing logistic support to all the departments. Qualification and Experience: CA with at least five years of relevant experience.

3. Legal and Compliance Manager

Responsibilities:

The Legal and Compliance Manager shall handle legal matters and ensure compliance of both the Company and the Fund. The Legal and Compliance Manager will draft contracts/agreements, resolutions, letters, and memos relevant to funds investment and provide a legal opinion. S/he will liaise with external law firms whenever required. It will be their responsibility to provide legal guidance to the fund's management to protect the fund's interest and support the negotiating team of the Company. S/he will be required to help the company's investment team to implement the terms of the contracts/agreements and will also be responsible to perform functions of Company Secretary including handling of BoD meetings, reporting to shareholders of the Company and unitholders of the funds, annual report preparation, and conduction of AGM of the Company and the Funds. Qualification and Experience: LLM in Corporate Law with at least five years of relevant experience especially in compliance and reporting, legal interpretation, contract writing, and negotiation.

4. Relationship Manager/Officer

Responsibilities:

The relationship Manager shall be responsible for maintaining relationships with all the stakeholders of the Company including Promoters of the Company, Limited Partners, Investee Companies, and the Business Community. Furthermore, s/he will also be tasked as the primary liaison between the Company and its service providers, related regulators, and the press. S/he will make necessary arrangements to implement/execute the funds/products designed by the Company including approval of the funds/products from the regulators as well as preparation and execution of marketing plans for fundraising and maintain roasters of consultants and experts. S/he shall be responsible for business promotion and brand building as well as refining business promotion plans, strategies, and policies. Qualification and Experience: CA, CFA, or MBA, with at least five years of relevant experience especially in business promotion and marketing (for Relationship Officer three years of experience). S/he should have good report writing, contract writing, and other material preparation as well as presentation and communication skills.

5. Investment Associate/Analyst

Responsibilities:

Work under Investment Director/Investment Manager and perform business research and project/investment analysis/valuation for the purpose of fund/product designing, fund investment, and divestment. A detailed Job Description shall be provided upon joining the Company.

Qualification and Experience:

CA or CFA or Masters in Financial Management, preferably having some experience in business analysis and company valuation.

6. Account and Admin Assistant

Responsibilities:

Work under Finance and Operation Manager and perform accounting, auditing, and administration-related functions. A detailed Job Description shall be provided upon joining the Company.

Qualification and Experience:

BBA/BBS in an account of having some relevant experiences. Basic skills in IT shall be an added advantage.
