Asia Pacific Alliance for Disaster Management (A-PAD) Vacancy for Country Coordinator; Admin and Finance Officer

The Asia Pacific Alliance for Disaster Management (A-PAD) is a trans-national disaster aid alliance that works to facilitate cooperation and understanding between governments, private companies, and NGOs in the Asia Pacific region.

A-PAD Liaison Office in Nepal is implementing (Establishment of a Multi-sector Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction to support the resiliency of disaster-prone communities in Nepal) for establishing a multi-sector platform for disaster response in Nepal, the project supports the resiliency of disaster-prone communities by improving capacities and information dissemination system to optimize resources. Our goal is Disaster Risk Reduction by the establishment of a multi-sector platform, strengthening disaster response capability, and improving community resiliency for disaster preparedness. The program districts are Kathmandu, Sunsari, Udayapur, and Dhankuta.

A-PAD Liaison Office in Nepal is currently seeking applicants for the following positions:

1. Country Coordinator

Basic requirements for submission of application:

Master's degree in public administration, social science, management, or other related fields.

At least 6-7 years experience in project management in the field of disaster risk reduction, humanitarian assistance, development, or other relevant experience.

2. Admin and Finance Officer

Basic requirements for submission of application: Bachelors degree in Management, CA/ACCA, or equivalent 

More than 3.4 years experience in Finance/Accounts/Administration, with excellent language skills in English
