This application call is made to fill the following vacant positions in the General Group, Law Subgroup, General Group, Accounts Subgroup, and Technical Group (Communication and Engineering) of the Armed Police Force, Nepal, through open competition. Qualified and interested Nepali citizens can submit their applications online or in person with a Rs. 10/- ticket affixed to the application form.

5. Eligibility required for appointment:

a. Inspector of Armed Police (Legal Subgroup)

  • Completed 21 years and less than 25 years on the date of publication of the advertisement (date of birth from 2060/03/21 to 2065/03/21).
  • Graduated in law from a recognized university and obtained an advocate certificate from the Nepal Law Practitioners Council.
  • In the case of males, the height should be at least five feet two inches and the weight should be at least 50 kg. In the case of females, the height should be at least five feet and the weight should be at least 42 kg.
  • Obtained a certificate of Nepalese citizenship.
  • A minimum of 31 inches of uninflated chest for men and 33 inches of inflated chest (not required for women).
  • Eyes not weaker than minus 2 or plus 2.
  • Having obtained a health certificate from an approved doctor appointed by the Head Office (to be conducted during the examination).
  • Having received a recommendation of good character from the educational institution where he studied and two other incumbent gazetted officers of the Government of Nepal other than his relatives.
  • Not having been punished by the court for criminal charges showing moral turpitude.
  • Not being a member of a political party at the time of application.
  • Not being a member of a terrorist organization.
  • Not dismissed from employment so as to disqualify him for future government service.
  • Impunity for violations of human rights and humanitarian law.
  • He was not punished for espionage against Nepal.

b. Inspector of Armed Police (Accounts Subgroup)

  • Graduated from a recognized university with a bachelor's degree in management or commerce including accounting.
  • For the post of Armed Police Inspector (Legal Subgroup), other qualifications have been fulfilled except (b).

c. Technical Armed Police Inspector (Mechanical/Automobile Engineer)

  • Completed 21 years and less than 30 years on the date of publication of the advertisement (date of birth from 2050/03/21 to 2058/03/21).
  • Nepali with at least a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related subject from a recognized educational institution registered with the Council.
  • Eyes not weaker than minus 2.5 or plus 2.5.
  • Having fulfilled the qualifications other than (a), (b), and (d) as prescribed for the post of Armed Police Inspector (Law Subgroup).

d. Technical Armed Police Inspector (Computer Engineer)

  • At least a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related subject from a recognized educational institution and registered with the Nepal Engineering Council.
  • For the post of Technical Armed Police Inspector (Mechanical/Automobile Engineer), other qualifications have been fulfilled except (b).

e. Technical Armed Police Inspector (Electronics & Telecommunication Engineer)

  • Obtained at least a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a related subject from a recognized educational institution and registered with the Nepal Engineering Council.
  • As prescribed for the post of Technical Armed Police Inspector (Mechanical/Automobile Engineer), other qualifications except that other qualifications are.

f. Technical Armed Police Inspector (Civil Engineer)

  • At least a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related subject from a recognized educational institution and registered with the Nepal Engineering Council.
  • For the post of Technical Armed Police Inspector (Mechanical/Automobile Engineer), other qualifications have been fulfilled except (b).

6. Revenues:

a. Inspector of Armed Police/Technical Inspector of Armed Police

On submitting the application form Rs. 1200/- (One thousand two hundred) should be paid. When submitting the application form for the inclusive group, an additional fee of 20% (Rs. 240/-) of the examination fee per group will have to be paid and the said fee will be paid to the Armed Police Force, National Commercial Bank of Nepal Head Office. Revenue Account No. at the Central Office. 100010002010000, Office Code 314053507, Revenue Title No. 14224 must be deposited and a gross receipt must be submitted along with 1 copy of the application form. In case of double duty Rs. 2400/- (Two Thousand Four Hundred), and Rs. 480/- (four hundred and eighty) should be paid.

7. Documents Required Along with the Application:

Candidates must submit certified copies of the following documents along with their application. Submitting duplicate copies of documents is not allowed.

(A) Proof of Nepalese Citizenship

  • 1 (one) copy

(B) Valid Passport Size Photographs

  • 3 (three) copies

(C) Academic Qualification Certificates

  • 1/1 (one each) copy of the minimum academic qualification certificates required for the advertised position, as well as character, permanent or provisional certificates, and mark sheets. If studied abroad, an equivalence certificate from Tribhuvan University.

(D) Documents for Asha/Children of Disabled Armed Police Personnel

  • 1 (one) copy of proof of Asha/Children of Disabled Armed Police Personnel.

(E) Proof for Indigenous/Janajati Candidates

  • 1 (one) copy of the certified proof from the Nepal Indigenous/Janajati Upliftment National Foundation or the specified institution.

(F) Proof for Madhesi Candidates

  • 1 (one) copy of the certified proof from an institution specified by the Government of Nepal and listed in the Nepal Gazette. The recommendation letter from the District Officer must also be submitted.

(G) Proof for Dalit Candidates

  • 1 (one) copy of the certified proof from the National Dalit Commission or the specified institution. The recommendation letter from the District Officer must also be submitted.

(H) Proof for Candidates from Backward Areas

  • 1 (one) copy of the certified proof of citizenship from the respective districts (Achham, Kalikot, Jajarkot, Jumla, Dolpa, Bajhang, Bajura, Mugu, and Humla) and a certified copy of the document proving continuous residence in the specified areas for the last 3 years.

8. Examination Methods:

Instructions:

A. Application forms which have not been duly received and the revenue dues have not been paid within the due date shall not be registered.

B. Candidates who have registered the application form online within the deadline, after registering the form, must download the application form within the date 2081/04/29 as mentioned in point no. 7.

  1. The candidate must attend in person and get the admit card by affixing a stamp of Rs. 10/- along with all the documents.
  2. If not present on the mentioned date, the application form will automatically be cancelled.

C. Candidates must take the admit card and a copy of citizenship with them while appearing for each stage of the examination.

D. The results will be published after the completion of each phase of the examination, and only the successful candidates will be included in the next phase of the examination.

E. While conducting the examination, the same examination will be conducted for open and inclusive categories and based on the marks obtained, candidates will be selected by separate competition among the inclusive categories.

F. In addition to the fee mentioned in 6, an additional fee will be charged during the detailed and special health examination of the candidates.

G. The examination mentioned in 8 (घ) will be conducted by the Public Service Commission.

H. The results of the written and interview tests will be published in the following order:

  1. Open
  2. Women
  3. Indigenous/Janajati
  4. Madhesi
  5. Dalit
  6. Backward Areas
  7. Amar/Children of Disabled Armed Police Personnel

I. Candidates must have their hair cut short so that both ears are visible when appearing during the initial physical examination (only for males).

J. In case of any kind of accident during the selection examination, the candidate will be responsible for it.

K. After being appointed, candidates should undergo basic training of the relevant rank according to the curriculum determined by the Armed Police Force, Nepal Headquarters.

Note:

1. In the case of gazetted employees of the Armed Police Service, persons who have not exceeded 30 (thirty) years of age (up to the date of birth 2051/03/21) can be candidates. In the case of such departmental candidates, they must have completed the basic training of the relevant rank and must submit a recommendation from the concerned office on whether or not they are in the process of departmental punishment.
