The Armed Police Force, Nepal, invites applications from interested Nepali citizens who meet the following qualifications to fill the vacant posts in the General Group, Law Sub-group, and General Group, Account Sub-group through open competition. Applications can be submitted online or by submitting the application form in person with a revenue ticket of Rs. 10 affixed.
1. Application Submission Deadline:
(a) From 10:00 AM on 2081/11/18 to office hours on 2081/12/19.
(b) Candidates who have filled out the application form online within the specified time must submit the original application form in person by 2081/12/22.

4. Minimum Required Qualifications:
Minimum Required Qualifications:
1. Armed Police Inspector (Law Sub-group):
a. Must have completed 21 years and not exceeded 25 years of age on the day of advertisement publication (born between 2056/11/16 and 2060/11/16).
b. Must have obtained a bachelor's degree in law from a recognized university and obtained a certificate of advocate from the Nepal Bar Council.
c. In the case of men, the height should be at least five feet two inches and the weight at least 50 kg, and in the case of women, the height should be at least five feet and the weight at least 42 kg.
d. Must have obtained a certificate of Nepali citizenship.
e. In the case of men, the chest should be at least 31 inches when unexpanded and 33 inches when expanded (not applicable for women).
f. Eyesight should not be weaker than minus 2 or plus 2.
g. Must have received a certificate of fitness from a doctor approved by the Head Office (to be conducted during the examination process).
h. Must have received a recommendation of good character from two gazetted officers of the Government of Nepal, other than the educational institution where he/she studied and his/her relatives.
i. Must not have been convicted by a court on a criminal charge involving moral turpitude.
j. Must not be a member of any political party at the time of application.
k. Must not be a member of a terrorist organization.
l. Must not have been dismissed from service in a way that disqualifies him/her for government service in the future.
m. Must not have been punished for violating human rights and humanitarian law.
n. Must not have been punished on charges of espionage against Nepal.
2. Armed Police (Account Sub-group):
a. Must have passed a bachelor's degree or equivalent in management or commerce with accounting as a subject from a recognized university.
b. Must have fulfilled other qualifications as specified for the post of Armed Police Inspector (Law Sub-group), except for (b).
5. Revenue Fee:
Post: Armed Police Inspector
Fee: Rs. 1200/- (one thousand two hundred) must be submitted while submitting the application form. An additional 20% (Rs. 240/-) of the examination fee per group must be paid for applying under inclusive groups. The fee must be deposited in the Revenue Account No. 1000100200010000, Office Code 314053507, Revenue Heading No. 14224 at Rastriya Banijya Bank Ltd., Central Office, Armed Police Force, Nepal Head Office, and the original voucher must be submitted along with the application form.
The following documents mentioned in the advertisement must be brought in original along with self-attested copies while applying; certificates with erasures or double writing will not be accepted:
(a) Copy of Nepali citizenship certificate: 1 (one) copy.
(b) Recent passport-size photo showing both ears: 3 (three) copies.
(c) Copy of the minimum educational qualification certificate prescribed for the advertised post: 1/1 (one/one) copy, including character, permanent or provisional certificates and mark sheets of each level, and in case of studying outside Nepal, equivalence certificate from Tribhuvan University.
(d) For the children of martyred/disabled armed police personnel, a document confirming the martyrdom/disability and a document certifying the relationship: 1 (one) copy.
(e) For indigenous/tribal people, a copy of the certificate certified as indigenous/tribal by the National Foundation for Upliftment of Indigenous/Tribal Peoples: 1 (one) copy.
(f) For Madhesi, a certificate certified as Madhesi by the institution specified by the Government of Nepal by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette, but until the institution is defined by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette, a certificate certified as Madhesi by the Chief District Officer on the recommendation of the head of the concerned local body: 1 (one) copy.
(g) For Dalits, a copy of the certificate certified as Dalit by the National Dalit Commission: 1 (one) copy, but if there are more than one surname within the caste listed by the National Dalit Commission, a copy of the letter certified as the surname within the listed caste by the Chief District Officer on the recommendation of the head of the concerned local body: 1 (one) copy.
(h) For backward areas, a copy of the original letter with permanent residence in Achham, Kalikot, Jajarkot, Jumla, Dolpa, Bajhang, Bajura, Mugu and Humla districts and having obtained a certificate of citizenship from the concerned district and a recommendation from the concerned Village Municipality or Municipality stating that they are permanent residents of the same place until the time of application submission.

P.S.:
(a) Incomplete application forms and those not paying the revenue fee within the deadline will not be registered.
(b) Candidates who have registered the application form online within the deadline must download and print the application form filled within the deadline, a copy of the voucher of revenue deposited in the prescribed revenue bank account number, office code and revenue heading number, recommendation of good character from two gazetted officers of the Government of Nepal other than the educational institution where he/she studied and his/her relatives, all the documents as mentioned in point no. 7, along with a revenue ticket of Rs. 10 affixed, and must be present in person to collect the admit card. (If not present on the specified date, the application form will be automatically canceled.)
(c) Candidates must have their admit card and original copy of citizenship while attending each stage of the examination.
(d) The results will be published after each examination stage, and only the successful candidates will be included in the next stage.
(e) While conducting the examination, the same examination will be conducted for open and inclusive groups, and based on the marks they obtained, the posts will be filled out by conducting separate competitions among the candidates for the inclusive groups.
(f) In addition to the revenue fee mentioned in point no. 6, an additional fee will be charged as prescribed for detailed and special health examination of the candidates.
(g) The examinations mentioned in points no. 8 (d) and (e) will be conducted by the Public Service Commission.
(h) The results of the written and interview examinations will be published in the following order:
(a) Open
(b) Women
(c) Indigenous/Tribal
(d) Madheshi
(e) Dalit
(f) Backward Area
(g) Children of Martyred / Disabled APF Staff
(i) Candidates must have their hair cut short so that both ears are visible when coming for the preliminary physical test (for men only).
(j) The candidate himself/herself will be responsible for any accident during the selection examination period.
(k) According to sub-rule (5) of rule 12 of the Armed Police Rules, 2072, the posts that become vacant until the publication of the results of the written examination for the post of Armed Police Inspector and until the publication of the results of the interview for the post of Armed Police Jawan, Armed Police Orderly (various trades) can be included in the same advertisement.
(l) After the appointment, basic training for the concerned rank has to be done according to the curriculum determined by the Armed Police Force, Nepal Head Office.
Note:
(1) According to the order of mandamus issued on 2079/10/24 in writ no. 078-WO-0384 including the Armed Police Force, Nepal Head Office, Halchowk, Kathmandu as the opposing party by the Hon'ble Supreme Court, this notice has been published to fill the posts as per the provisions in the current laws for the time being to compensate for the loss caused by not including the inclusive groups specified in the law in fiscal year 079/080 in proportion to the posts falling under the inclusive group among the total posts that will be established after arranging the necessary legal provisions as per the order of mandamus.
(2) In the case of non-gazetted employees of the Armed Police Service, a person not exceeding 30 (thirty) years of age (date of birth up to 2051/11/16) can be a candidate. In the case of such departmental candidates, it is mandatory to have completed the basic training of the concerned rank and a recommendation must be submitted from the concerned office stating whether or not they are in the process of departmental punishment.
