ActionAid is a global justice federation working to achieve social justice, gender equality, and poverty eradication. ActionAid International Nepal (AA Nepal) is a member of the f Memnon, working for human rights, anti-poverty, and gender equality. It is a non-governmental national social justice organisation established in 1982 and working loc.atly in different provinces of Nepal. It is also a part of both national and global social justice movement and other civil society networks, alliances, and coalitions.
AA Nepal is seeking competent, committed and result-oriented candidates for the two positions mento ned below.
1. Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Humanitarian Response Coordinator
Key Responsibilities;
He/she is responsible to conceptualize, plan and manage initiation to promote resilience against disaster; and ensure humanitarian response in case of any emergency to contribute to the overall organizational mission to achieve social justice, gender equality and poverty eradication in line with AA Nepal's Strategy 2023.
Key Competencies Required:
- Master's degree in Social Science/Development Studies or any other relevant held from a recognized University
- at least 5-6 years of experience in a related held in a similar role and similar organization, and experience of working Ma multi-cultural environment
2. Internal Auditor
Key Responsibilities:
S/he is responsible to conduct internal audits, maintain risk register to give reassurance to the AA Nepal management that the system of internal control is adequate to achieve management objectives in an efficient and orderly manner. S/he objectively examines evaluates and reports on the adequacy of internal as a contribution to the proper, economic and effective use of resources and management of organizational risks.
Key Competencies Required:
- A Master's degree in Business Administration/Accounting/Auditing or finance or relevant held from a recognized University; ACCA/CA qualified professional is highly preferred.
- At least 4.5 years' work experience in related field in similar organization and role, and experience of working in multicultural
