Scholars Home Academy was established in 1996 A.D (2053 BS) as a Private educational institution, which is located in Samakhushi, Kathmandu, Nepal. It is affiliated to the National Examinations Board (NEB) and approved by the Ministry of Education. It offers education programs from Playgroup to Grade 12 ( Ten Plus Two programs under Management, and Science streams).
Scholars Home Academy provides Secondary education with moderate fee structures and also provides a scholarship scheme for deserving students.
Teaching cannot be done without understanding a child. A child’s psychology is understood better only in a joyful and child-friendly learning environment, that is what it is trying to provide in the pre-primary wing, adopting the combination of thematic teaching and the Montessori method of teaching. Its classroom set-ups are the best fitting models according to the needs of the children where they act, play, dance and learn the socialization process through communicating with peer groups. Its team of teachers, trained in both Theme centered teaching and Montessori method of teaching, helps children learn through playing in well-equipped classroom set-ups and arrange curricular and co-curricular activities that match the growth and development of a child.
