Overview
Rhododendron International Boarding School (RIBS) was established in 1985 AD (2041 BS) as a Private educational institution, which is located in Chandragiri, Balambu, Kathmandu. It is affiliated to the National Examination Board (NEB) and approved by the Ministry of Education. If offers educational programs from Playgroup to Grade 10 (SEE).
RIBS provides up to secondary level education with moderate fee structures and also provides a scholarship scheme for deserving students.
Rhododendron International Boarding School (RIBS) was founded as a Primary Co-educational English Medium School at Kalanki in 1985 AD at the founder's residence. At present, it has been running up to the secondary level in its own building at Chandragiri Municipality – 5, just behind Nepal Telecom, Earth Station, Gurjudhara, Balambu.
A total number of 1000 students, boys, and girls at the ration of almost half and a half in number, have been studying at present. A group of well-experienced teaching staff along with the non-teaching staff are responsible for the overall management and the development of the school.
RIBS Achievements:
*Introduced the Roll Ball game in Nepal.
*Renowned football and basketball players have been produced to participate in National and International tournaments.
*The success of past students engaged in different professional fields both in and outside the country has made the nation praiseworthy.
