Kathmandu Valley School was established in 1997 A.D. (2054 B.S.) as a Private educational institution, which is located in Museum Road, Chhauni, Kathmandu, Nepal. It is affiliated to the National Examination Board (NEB) and approved by the Ministry of Education. It offers education programs from Playgroup (PG) to Ten Plus Two under Management, and Science streams.
Kathmandu Valley School (KVS) is a co-educational Montessori school that has been gradually carving out a name for itself in the field of education in the valley. the school was established under the expert guidance and advice of Dr. Swagat Shrestha, who has an experience of running Kathmandu Valley College for the past seventeen years.
It aims at all-round development of its students in order to meet the challenges of modern life through modern technology and proven practices. It has a highly qualified team of experienced teachers under whose able guidance the students pursue their daily activities.
The Kathmandu Valley school is situated in the central locality at Museum Road, Chhauni, Kathmandu, hardly a ten minutes walk from main downtown Kalimati and world-famous stupa Swoyambhu. It is located in a serene, lush-green and pollution-free environment. It is far from the maddening hustle of the city.
It is governed by a managing committee consisting of prominent scholars who are responsible for making policies and decisions for the proper and efficient management of the school.
