Overview
Himganga Secondary School, Okhaldhunga (हिमगंगा माध्यमिक विद्यालय, ओखलढुंगा) was established as a community based educational institution, which is situated in Khijidemba-7, Rawadolu, Okhaldhunga, Nepal. It is affiliated with the National Examination Board (NEB) and approved by the Ministry of Education. It offers educational programs from ECD to grade 10 and plus two programs.
The school is located 19 miles from the district headquarters Okhaldhunga and about 235 kilometers from the capital Kathmandu. There were no schools in this place before 2016 when the general public was deprived of education. In such a situation, a primary school was established in 2017 BS with the active participation of the social workers here. Due to which the people had the opportunity to get an education.
Himganga Secondary School, Okhaldhunga provides up to secondary level education with moderate fee structures and also provides a scholarship scheme for deserving students.
