Himalayan WhiteHouse World School was established in 2001 A.D. as a Private educational institution, which is located in Subidhanagar, Tinkune, Kathmandu, Nepal. It is affiliated to the national examination Board (NEB) and approved by the Ministry of Education. It offers Playgroup (PG) to XII ( Management, Science and Humanities streams).
Teaching Methodology at HWWS:
The Himalayan Whitehouse World School would like to lead in the 21st century by offering innovative teaching strategies that aim beyond the test, to create life long learners and achievers. Its lessons are driven by the cross-fertilization of ideas, competitions, team games, and collaborative works that all aim to sharpen the intellect of its students and create curiosity in every moment. Through an online learning system, it enables its students to become proficient at the technological tools that have become the standard across the globe, in order to prepare them for future careers in almost any field. It organizes a variety of cultural events, inter-class/house competition, debate, recitation, group songs, folk dances, art and craft which enrich the educational and social aspects of its student’s lives.
Evaluation Systems at HWWS:
HWWS believes that every child is special and he/she has various ways and needs to get the education. Keeping this principle in mind it has launched and provisioned the continuous Evaluation System throughout the academic year comprising the terminal Formative and Summative Assessments. Students are assessed every day by their classroom behaviors, regular assignment, subject-wise practical performances, punctuality, project-based assignment and presentation and above all any rewarding activities they get involved inside or outside the school as parts of the Formative Assessment. Summative Assessment at the end especially ensures their syllabus based reading and writing skills. Every student with their parents is explicitly made aware of the progress at each terminal evaluation through one to one correspondence with respective class and subject teachers.
As to cater to the present needs and expectations of the education system, It has developed the unique progress report to display the result both in marking as well as grading schemes. It seems that the immediate feedback and the result are issued and published both online and offline. It makes sure through the online learning system to avail the result and feedback to the parents anywhere in the world. It encourages students to freely talk about different levels of evaluations in detail with their teachers and their parents.

Scholarships & Awards at HWWS:
(i) HWWS provides both need-based and merit-based scholarships to the deserving students.
(ii) The student who scores the highest in the class gets a 50-100% waiver in the tuition from each grade.
(iii) Student of the Year (One best student in academics and behavior and overall performance) also gets a 50-100% tuition fee waiver for the year.
(iv) Students from the weak economic background who cannot afford to pay the fee are also entitled with certain percentage scholarship, for which authentic documents have to be produced and presented at the time of admission
