Overview
Hanumanteshwor Secondary School (हनुमनतेश्वर माध्यमिक विद्यालय, दोलाखा) was established in 1960 A.D (2016 BS) as a community based educational institution, which is situated in Baiteshwor Gaupalika-4, Kavre, Dolakha, Nepal. It is affiliated to the National Examination Board (NEB) and approved by the Ministry of Education. It offers educational programs from ECD to Grade 10 and plus two programs under the Management, and Education streams. Tribhuvan University Programs: Three years B.Ed. under the management of Hanumanteshwor Higher Secondary School has been running since 2002.
It has also the vision and plans to launch technical education probably in the field of computer science, agriculture, and health science in the near future. Due to the tireless effort of dedicated and competent teachers and staff, this school has been able to obtain good results at each level.
It is always committed and dedicated to achieving its objective of academic excellence so that it can do better in the days to come for the all-round developments of its students. The school is entirely a community based so the students seeking quality education with a reasonable fee can be benefited. Last year, Keshab Dahal has been a Nepal topper in the education stream so far his certificate issued by the Girija Prasad Memorial Trust says. The Nepal weekly newspaper published in Chaitra 2066 says it has stood in the ninth position in the achievement of the SLC result throughout the central development region. It has a 76 percent SEE result on average.
It has 863 students at the school level (1-12), 16 students in ECD, 8 students in Inclusive Education (House Wife), and 211 students in plus two levels. There are 25 teachers. Out of which 17 are postgraduates in different subjects.
This is the first school to launch plus two computer science in the Dolakha district. Due to the dedicated team of highly experienced and trained teachers, and well-managed science and computer laboratories and library, gents and girls separate hostels, the number of students from surrounding Villages is being attracted.
It has given the emphasis on games and sports, cultural activities, excursions, and co-curricular and extracurricular activities. It has been managing child-friendly classroom management and running classes from grades one to ten accordingly to the norms and values of the child-friendly teaching-learning process.
Hanumanteshowr Secondary School provides up to secondary level education with moderate fee structures and also provides a scholarship scheme for financially weak and deserving students.
