Godawari Vidya Mandir Secondary School (गोदावरी विद्या मन्दिर माध्यमिक विद्यालय, सुनसरी) is an educational spot to perceive learning of varieties. The School was established in 1992 AD (2049 BS) aimed at imparting quality education for the current and future generation of students. The School has focused its activities to ensure a change in attitudes and behaviors. The School has been a motivating institute for effective learning and result oriented education. Godawari Vidya Mandir's institution is dedicated and committed to perceiving dignity, aspiration, wisdom, and respect.
It focuses on child-friendly teaching, discipline, good habits, good character, good manners, and English language competence of students. Its mission is to assist students to attain their personal, educational, and career goals using the most modern technology.
Godawari Vidya Mandir is located at Itahari-7, Sunsari district, engulfed with a quiet and clean environment for learning. Despite a large number of schools in Itahari, GVM is deserved to be recognized as a child-friendly learning center. Self-discipline and mutual co-operation are trained to the students. Organizing of extra-curricular activities time-to-time has helped the students to attain the best motive of learning.
Since GVMSS's beginning, GVM has received the best result performance in SLC and has been awarded many prizes in different competitions of extra activities of the regional and national arena. A large number of bonafide and successful students have been produced from here.
Godawari Vidya Mandir has a good managerial team of administration. Mutual co-operation between the administration and teaching and non-teaching staff has made a good contribution to each sector.
Godawari Vidya Mandir has been equipped with many essential facilities for students. Audio-visual class, science and computer lab, library, school bus service, canteen are some of the facilities found within here for students. Montessori class for the pre-primary level has been started since 2072 BS.
