Overview
Global Public School, Kathmandu was established in 2005 A.D. (2061 B.S.) as a private educational institution located in Pepsi Cola, Town Planning, Kathmandu, Nepal. It is affiliated National Examination Board (NEB) and approved by the Ministry of Education. It offers education programs from playgroup (PG) to grade 10 (SEE).
GPS was founded with the mission to Providing practical-oriented management education, Enabling students to become self-dependent, responsible, and thoughtful professionals and Providing sold foundation for further management students. The school has proved itself to be one of the leading institutions in providing world-class education and it is marching ahead with its vision of enhancing the capacity of individuals and consequently the institutions in Nepal to contribute to the nation's development.
Global Public School provides up to secondary level education with moderate fee structures and also provides a scholarship scheme for deserving students. Learning Process of Global Public School:
Class Lectures: Classes are conducted by highly experienced, qualified and committed lecturers.
Internal Assessment: Students’ academic performance is assessed through Unit Tests, Terminal Examinations and Send-up Examination.
Guest Lectures: Students are benefited through guest lectures by reputed professionals and academicians on different subjects.
Field Visits and Internship: Students are provided with practical exposure through field visits. Besides, meritorious students are sent for internships in various related institutions.
Seminar, Presentation & Group Discussion: Students are involved in seminars, presentations as well as group discussions as an integral part of their learning process.
Project Works: Students are required to do project works and submit reports.
Extra-Curricular Activities & Clubs: MODERN students are encouraged to take an active part in extra and co-curricular activities with the purpose of their overall development. For this MODERN Student Quality Circle (SQC) Club, Sports Club, Social Club, Music Club, etc. are functioning in the school. Every club organizes various kinds of programs throughout a year.
School Publications: The literary wall and annual magazine publish the works of students- essays, poems, artwork, short stories, etc. Literary wall magazine is published monthly, while the annual magazine is published in the form of a book at the end of each academic year.
