Overview
Bagdevi Secondary School was established in 1953 AD (2010 B.S.) as a community based educational institution, which is located in Jyamdi, Kavrepalanchok, Nepal. It is affiliated to the National Examination Board (NEB) and approved by the Ministry of Education. It offers educational programs from ECD to Grade 10 and plus two programs (under Management, and Education).
The name of this school has given from the name of god Bagdevi which is located near the school in the forest. Bagdevi Secondary School was established with the greatest effort of late Prabhu Lal Parajuli who was the initiator, social worker & Founder of Bagdevi.
Bagdevi Secondary School is located on the top of the hill of Deurali which is about 1379m. height from the sea level. The environment of this school is pristine, charm, and beautiful emerald. It is on the top with two large hills Thumka and Gopal Thumka.
Bagdevi Secondary School is situated at Mandandevpur Municipality, Jyamdi -12, Deurali in Kavreplanchok district, and Bagmati zone. It is about 60 kilometers away from the capital city Kathmandu. It is joined by the Araniko Highway at 50 km and it takes about 10 kilometers of muddy road from 50k.m. to reach Bagdevi.
