Overview
Arun Jyoti Vidya Mandir Secondary School (AJVMSS) was established in 1995 A.D. (2052 B.S.) as a Private educational institution, which is located at Gokarneshwor-6, Bauddha, Jorpati, Kathmandu, Nepal. It is affiliated to the National Examinations Board (NEB) and approved by the Ministry of Education for Nursery to Grade 10.
The year 2052 BS marked the beginning of an era as the gates of AJVM opened to cater to the education needs of children in its community. The school was founded with the objective of creating outstanding results, education in character building leadership, extra and co-curricular activities providing a strong academic base along with a very strong dedicated and capable team of educators who became the driving force in the growth of the school.
It is said that educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all''. Even as it imparts education to match the advancement in technology and globalization, it matches its children ahead with AJVM'S ethos of moral values and principles. It endeavors constantly to instill these qualities in our children. It prides itself to help them grow and develop into sensitive and responsible citizens of the future.
