Overview
Amar Jyoti Model Secondary School was established in 1960 AD (2017 BS) as a publicly owned academic institute located in Birendranagar-12, Neware, Chanaute, Surkhet, Karnali Pradesh of Nepal. This Secondary School is affiliated to NEB (National Examinations Board) and CTEVT - Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training. It is approved by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Nepal. It offers Ten Plus Two (10+2) programs in Science, Management, Education, and Humanities streams.
Amar Jyoti Model Secondary School, Surkhet also offers Diploma level programs such as Diploma in Civil Engineering for 40 seats each year. This school provides 10+2 and diploma level programs with affordable fees structure and also provides various scholarship facilities for deserving and underprivileged students as per the decision of the school management committee.
Amarjyoti School has been performing best results in NEB, CTEVT, and school level examination since its inception. It is one of the oldest schools in the Surkhet district continuously performing excellent results. It has been focusing on extra-curricular activities with state-of-art-facilities.
