Overview
Alpha Boarding School, Pokhara was established in 1988 AD (2045 BS) as a private educational institution, which is situated t separate places in Pokhara (a tourist destination 200 km West of Kathmandu) with an average elevation of 900 meters above sea level. As it stands by its name ‘alpha's first Greek-letter is the pioneer private boarding school. It is affiliated to the National Examination Board (NEB) and approved by the Ministry of Education. It offers educational programs from PG to grade 10 and Plus Two (Class 11 and 12) programs.
Alpha Boarding School, Pokhara holds a proud history in bringing up 17 batches of SLC graduates in its 28 years of excellence. Initially, the focus of this school was to provide an all-round education to the children of the children’s of Pokhara.
It has been able to establish itself as one of the finest institutions in the country for the dynamic and holistic learning opportunities it offers. It has been functioning as a not-for-profit educational institution and has been registered under Public Education Trust.
