Tharu Kalyankarini Sabha Raises Over 6 Lakhs for Akshay Kosh Scholarship Fund
The Tharu Kalyankarini Sabha, based in Chitwan, has achieved a remarkable milestone by collecting more than 6 lakhs for the Akshay Kosh scholarship fund. This initiative has been driven by the passion of the Tharu community to uplift their youth and advance their standing in the educational field.
Advancing Tharu Youth in Education
The Akshay Kosh fund was established in Bhadra 2077, under the aegis of the Sabha. The scholarship fund has successfully mobilized the support of 105 participants who have generously contributed to the cause. The goal is to inspire and propel the Tharu youth toward higher educational attainment.
During an honor program in Bharatpur, Jit Bahadur Mahato, the coordinator of the Akshay Kosh fund, acknowledged this significant achievement. He also emphasized the need for further support and engagement to continue the fund's successful journey.
The Road Ahead for the Scholarship Fund
Lalit Kumar Chaudhary, President of Tharu Kalyankarini Sabha, assured that the scholarships from the Akshay Kosh fund would be disseminated to students soon. With a keen eye on the Tharu youth who aspire for higher education, he voiced the Sabha's commitment to providing them with the necessary aid.
