- Must have completed grades 3 and 4 in a public school within the district of the parent's residence or neighboring districts, concluding grade 4 in the academic year 2080.

- Candidates will be chosen through an interview and a competitive written examination, ensuring representation from various communities.

- Submission Dates: 28th Chaitra 2080 (1:00 pm to 4:00 pm) and 29th Chaitra 2080 (8:00 am to 10:00 am).
- Application forms are available at www.bnks.edu.np, www.cehrd.gov.np, or www.moest.gov.np must be completed, endorsed, and submitted with necessary documents at the designated examination center.

- Syllabus: Class 4 curriculum including Nepali, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and General Knowledge, with a mix of objective (40%) and subjective (60%) questions.

- Budhanilkantha School offers 42 seats, ensuring at least 50% female students. The selection encompasses open and reserved seats, with specific allocations for various communities.
- An additional 77 students will be selected for partnership schools, emphasizing diversity and female representation.

Documents to be submitted along with the application:
(1) The following documents should be submitted along with the prescribed application form:
(a) Application form attested by the specified person (the concerned Headmaster and Head of Education at the local level) filling in the requested details,
(b) Letter of destitution issued by the local level including the monthly income of the parents/guardian,
(c) Certificate of birth of the student issued by the local registrar,
(d) A letter from the local level revealing the relationship between parents and students,
(e) Copy of Nepali Citizenship Certificate of parent/guardian
Explanation: Parent means grandfather, grandmother, father, mother, brother or sister.
(f) Updated details of the student in IEMIS including class, school code, and student ID for the previous 2 academic sessions, verified by the respective schools.
(g) Persons from the following groups who wish to be candidates for the reserved position along with the application and recommendation letter from the following body:
a) In the case of tribals, from the National Foundation for Tribal/Tribal Upliftment or the concerned District Administration Office,
b) In the case of Dalits, from the National Dalit Commission or the concerned District Administration Office,
e) In the case of the Madheshi community, from the Madhesi Commission or the relevant district administration office,
e) In the case of the Muslim community, from the Muslim Commission or the concerned District Administration Office,
f) In the case of missing person or family of martyrs and injured or their descendants (sons and daughters), from the Ministry of Home Affairs or the relevant district administration office,
o) In the case of backward and remote areas, it has been disclosed from the relevant local level that he has permanent residence in the same place and that the student has studied in class 3 and 4 public schools.
(2) The concerned parents have to submit the application form and necessary documents to the examination conducting team on the day scheduled for the examination
at the designated examination center.
Things to note while filling out the application form:
(1) If one child of the concerned parent is studying at Budhanilkanth School, his other child will not be given a scholarship in the case of Budhanilkanth School.
(2) The scholarship selection committee can approve or reject the form by determining the fixed income limit of the parents of the students participating in the examination. (3) Examinations cannot be given from centers other than those designated for the district. District means the district where the student is studying in class 4.
(4) Forms not duly filled will automatically be canceled.
(5) Sons and daughters of employees working in the position of Deputy Secretary of the Government of Nepal or equivalent and above cannot participate in the scholarship selection examination.
