Sanima Bank Scholarship Application for Class 11 and Class 12

Sanima Bank has been providing scholarships since Fiscal Year 2068/69 to 2 students from each branch outside the Kathmandu Valley to pursue higher education in the educational institution and subject of their choice.

The scholarship covers educational fees, educational materials, and an additional monthly stipend of Rs. 2,000/-. Continuing this scholarship, the bank has published this notice inviting applications from poor and underprivileged students who have passed the SEE examination conducted in 2080 and are permanent residents of locations with Sanima Bank branches outside the Kathmandu Valley to study at the secondary level (Class 11 and 12).

The scholarship amount will be up to Rs. 50,000/- per year per student, including a monthly stipend of Rs. 2,000/- for expenses.

Scholarship Information:

(1) The applicant must be a permanent resident of the location where the branch is situated.

(2) The applicant must belong to a poor and underprivileged family.

(3) The applicant must have studied continuously for the past three years in a government/community school within the same location and must have obtained at least a 'B' grade in the SEE examination on the first attempt.

(4) The applicant must study the subject/stream available at the secondary educational institution within the same location. The applicant must choose the educational institution and subject themselves.

(5) The scholarship will only be provided once the educational institution where the applicant wishes to study confirms the applicant's admission.

(6) The applicant must be a full-time student.

(7) Among the applicants, the poorest and most underprivileged candidate will be selected by a recommendation committee consisting of local persons formed by the bank. The committee may interview the applicant or their family members.

(8) The scholarship will be effective from the date of admission to the educational institution.

(9) The applicant must not be receiving any other scholarships at the time of application.

(10) Application forms will be available free of charge at the bank's branch offices.

(11) Documents to be attached with the application:

One passport-sized photograph.
Marksheet and character certificate of the SEE examination.
Document proving continuous study for the past three years at a government/community school in the location where the branch is situated.
Copy of the citizenship certificate of the father or mother.

(12) The deadline for submitting the application form is within office hours on 2081 Shrawan 32.
