Nepal Mountain Academy - Research Program Invitation of Research Proposal for Experts & Students
Nepal Mountain Academy (NMA), under the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation invites research proposals and duly-filled-grant-application forms from eligible experts and students for Nepal Mountain Academy - Research Program (NMA-RP).
The NMA-RP aims at promoting research, development, and innovation through research grants to the faculties, experts, and students to strengthen research in the sectors of mountaineering, Himalayan cultural heritage, adventure tourism, and mountain sciences. The research proposal will be selected on the priority sector as identified by the Academy.
Interested faculties, experts, and students fulfilling the following requirements may apply for the NMA-RP.

Funding and Duration:
- The maximum amount of Research Expert Category is Rs. 200,000 (two hundred thousand rupees) based on the research and financial proposal. The maximum amount of Students Category is Rs. 100,000 (one hundred thousand rupees) based on the research and financial proposal.
- The study must be completed within 1 year.
Documents to be submitted Deadline:
- The application form must be submitted to Nepal Mountain Academy as per the guideline available at the website: www.man.gov.np.
- The applicant must follow the Academic Research Development Guideline-2020 while submitting the application form and research proposal.
- The application along with the detailed research proposal must be registered in Nepal Mountain Academy by December 31, 2020 (16 Poush, 2077). Delays caused by postal service or other modes of delivery will not be entertained.
