Urgent notice regarding the application for nomination in Free and Partial Scholarship in B.Sc. Forestry:
An immediate decision was taken due to the closure of Covid-19 in the country while preparations were underway for the meeting of the Scholarship Selection Committee to receive a 5-seat scholarship for the study of B.Sc Forestry for the academic session 2076 at Siddhant Campus Gaidakot Nawalparasi (Sustapur) under the University of Agriculture and Forestry. There is a request to be aware of the behavior that has not been learned.
As the qualification order has to be maintained in the scholarship quota as per the Scholarship Rules 2060, the interested Nepali citizens who have fulfilled the following qualifications are invited to scan and send the required documents along with the application from the scholarship division's email [email protected].
1) Minimum qualification required for application
Must have passed the bachelor's level entrance examination conducted by the University of Agriculture and Forestry in 2076 BS.
Group and seat designated for application:
- 3 seats in general group
- Reservation Group: Women 1 and Tribes 1
2) Application Deadline: Applications can be sent by email to [email protected] at the Scholarship Branch, Keshar Mahal, Ministry of Education, and Technology from 2077 Ashad 6 to 2077 Ashad 12. The application is attached herewith.
3) Arrangements related to revenue: Applicants will have to deposit the amount of Rs. 1000 in the Rastriya Banijya Bank counter and send it along with the application along with the scan of the voucher. Voucher sample This information page
4) Scanned documents to be submitted along with the application
- Completely filled application form
- Revenue deposited original voucher
- Copy of citizenship certificate
- Roll / Merit subject of roll number of entrance examination conducted by the University of Agriculture and Forestry,
- Transcript, Character Certificate / Original / Provisional Certificate of educational qualification passed 10 + 2 or certificate level or equivalent.
- Certificate of SEE / SLC examination
- If the board has obtained an educational qualification from outside Nepal, transcript, or market issued by the concerned board of all or any level along with pass verification certificate/degree provisional certificate/migration certificate along with the percentage opening letter from the curriculum development center.
- If the name, surname, and date of birth are different in the certificate of citizenship and educational qualification, the letter of recommendation of the concerned district administration office
Community School Group Reservation Group for Community Schools:
Since only the candidates who can submit all the three proofs including the recommendation of deprivation, recommendation of government school, and proof of reserved group are in the community school group, the candidate who is willing to apply in such group has to submit these three documents along with the application. A copy of the documents prescribed for the general group as well as the following documents should be sent to the scanner.
1) Recommendation letter provided by the concerned local body or education coordination unit stating that the school which has passed SLC / SEE is community government.
2) Recommendation letter of poverty issued by the concerned Rural municipality/Municipality / sub-metropolis) in the form of Schedule 1 of the Open Scholarship Rules, 2060 due to poverty.
3) Letter of recommendation provided by the following body to prove that he/she is a person of the concerned community.
Recommendations of the Janajati: From the Adivasi Janajati Utthan Rashtriya Pratisthan or from the concerned District Administration Office or the concerned local body
C) Reservation group on behalf of Other School Group:
Candidates applying to this group should enclose a scanned copy of the original designated documents for the General Group as well as the original copy of the letter of recommendation of the body specified in Article 3 above to prove that they belong to the respective community.
5) Qualifications:
The Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology will maintain the qualification of general and reservation group as per the rules on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates who have duly applied in the entrance examination conducted by the concerned study institute or faculty.
6) Recommendation of Poverty: Recommendation of Poverty in the following format should be certified by the official in the letter of recommendation of the Rural Municipality, Municipality / Sub-metropolitan or Metropolitan where the person concerned resides from 2077 Ashad 6 to last date of filing the application form 2077 Ashad 12. Otherwise, the application will be rejected on the reservation side and will be maintained only on the general side. Necessary documents should be attached with the application. No application will be registered under the condition.
7) Opportunity for other school groups: First priority will be given to the candidates who have passed the entrance examination from the community school in the reserved place and submitted the above-mentioned documents. Only in the absence of any candidate in the community group, reserved seats will be provided to the persons of the same community who have passed the entrance examination from other schools within Nepal. In case of non-availability, the reserved seats will be converted into ordinary groups and distributed as per the scholarship regulations.
