Directorate General of Military Welfare, Baladikrit Division, Jangi Adda, Baladikrit Division: Nepal Army Welfare Scholarships 2079 Notice
1) This information has been published for the information of all those concerned with the provision of Army Welfare Scholarships (Sainik Kalyankari Chhatrabriti) for the academic session 2078, Swadesh, among the various programs conducted under the Military Welfare Fund.
2) Details of Scholarship
(A) Scholarship Amount: Rs. 20,000.- (twenty thousand) per student per year.
(b) Scholarship recipients: Sons/daughters of Nepali Army veterans and retired soldiers (only the name of those who have submitted the scholarship in the previous academic session should be applied for, if they have appeared in the 12th-grade student scholarship in the past, they cannot apply for another child).
(c) Class to be studying: To submit a scholarship application for the academic session 2078, students must have passed class 6 to class 12 in that academic session.
(d) Age of students: For studying from Class 6 to Class 12, the age should not exceed 21 years as on 01/01/2079.
3) Students eligible for the scholarship:
(a) Should be the son/daughter of Nepali Army serving and retired soldiers.
(b) Only 1 (one) child (son/daughter) of the beneficiaries will receive the scholarship.
(c) Only children who have passed class 6 to class 12 in the academic session 2078 will get this facility.
(d) In the annual examination of the year 2075, the students studying in community/government schools should have obtained 40% (GPA 1.6) overall and 50% (GPA 2.0) in the case of students studying in institutional private schools should have passed (as in the achievement certificate where only grading is mentioned: grading A+ or D if percentage or GPA must be mentioned).
(e) Should be studying in schools and colleges (colleges) recognized by the Government of Nepal (in case of educational institutions operated in Nepal from other foreign countries, they should be recognized by the Government of Nepal and documents of recognition should be submitted).
(f) In the case of active soldiers, only descendants (sons/daughters) who have been registered through HR Digitization through Nepali Army will get this facility.
(g) Incumbent and retired beneficiaries who were injured during the past conflict and were in need of rehabilitation, who died in line of duty while fighting a fire in Ramechhap district, and who died in the Ramche landslide in Rasuwa district, among the descendants of a couple of gross rank soldiers who died at the expense of the Military Welfare Fund. If 1 (one) son or daughter is studying in institutions or empaneled schools, then 1 (one) child and two (two) children can apply for 2 (two) children if they are not studying in educational institutions or empaneled schools run by the military welfare fund.
(h) If they are the descendants of incumbent and retired beneficiaries of the earthquake-affected 14 districts who died in the 2072 Benasaki earthquake, 2 (two) persons will be allowed to apply for the scholarship. (Only if Army College or Empaneled Concession is not availed)
(i) In the case of twin children, if they have passed the entrance examination for studying in a military educational institution, one child can study at a concession and one child can study at a full fee, as per the provisions, if one child is studying at a full fee and the other child is not studying at a military educational institution at a concession.
(h) One child adopted as a son or daughter of a member of the Nepali Army and a retired general in accordance with the prevailing Nepalese laws.
4) Students who are not the eligible for scholarship:
(a) Students studying in schools/colleges (including colleges run under the Nepali Army Institute of Health Sciences) in the academic year 2075 in educational institutions run under the welfare fund. (If there are students who are studying in the said colleges/schools for free (except for full or partial subsidized fees) or are studying in the non-military quota, they must submit a recommendation letter from the concerned person stating that they did the not study on subsidized basis in the academic session 2075.
(b) Students receiving the "Pradhan Senapati Scholarship" distributed from the welfare fund (the families of those who died in the line of duty and heroism cannot apply for this scholarship and the families of those who died in the line of duty and heroism cannot apply for the "Pradhan Senapati Scholarship" within the deadline To inform that you will apply.)
(c) Students who have not submitted their application within the prescribed time limit (beneficiaries who missed to apply at the location) will be allowed to apply for the scholarship if they come to the General Directorate of Military Welfare within the prescribed time limit and submit the documents, but after the time limit expires, the said beneficiaries will not be able to apply.
(d) 1 (one) child of the beneficiaries currently taking study facilities in educational institution with Empaneled agreement.
(e) Persons who have been dismissed for various reasons during their service period and have not received a lease for welfare family concessions are not allowed to apply for the Army Welfare Scholarship.
(f) Students studying in foreign schools outside Nepal.
5) Mandatory documents to be submitted with the application
For Inservice:
(a) Copy of character certificate.
(b) Copy of profit letter of previous year (2078).
(c) Copy of birth registration certificate or citizenship.
(d) Copy of military identity card (not a military identity card).
(e) Copy of marriage registration certificate.
For Retired:
(a) Copy of character certificate.
(b) Copy of Labdhang letter of the previous year (2075).
(c) Copy of birth registration certificate or citizenship.
(d) Copy of pension lease (sheet with the name of the person concerned and the name of the nominated person) Recommendation letter from the unit without ID) |
(e) Copy of marriage registration certificate.
(f) Descendant details certificate from concerned Gaupalika / Nagarpalika.
1) When submitting the above-mentioned documents, details such as name, date of birth, marks obtained in the mark sheet should be clearly disclosed.
2) To apply for the scholarship, the required percentage and GPa of open class 6th to 11th class marks and character certificate should be submitted. (In the case of students who have passed class 8 and are studying in class 9 and have participated in the SEE examination, only if the application cannot be submitted at present, the recommendation of the concerned school stating that the examination result of class « has not been published and that the student is studying in class 9 and the name and date of birth of the parent and student have been mentioned. Letter and open admit card with symbol number received on the day of SEE examination should be submitted along with the application). Also, at the time of receiving the scholarship amount, a copy of the passing letter and character certificate must be submitted and if necessary, a copy must be shown.
3) Presently studying in class 12th, although class 12th exam is being conducted, since the result of the exam has not been published, submit a letter of recommendation from the concerned secondary school stating that he/she has passed class 11th and is currently studying in class 12th. In addition, at the time of taking the scholarship amount, the students studying in class 12 must show their passing letter and character certificate and if necessary, their spouse.
4) In the case of military personnel who were injured during the previous conflict, a letter from the Directorate of Ceremonies or a document certifying that they were injured in a previous conflict, a copy of the identification letter or proof of identity in the case of military personnel who died in the line of duty while fighting fire in Ramechhap district and died in the Ramche landslide in Rasuwa district, religion To submit a scholarship application for a son/daughter, the name of the person adopted as a son/daughter from the concerned ward office, the date of adoption (even if only the year is mentioned) and a letter of recommendation revealing the name of the son/daughter and the name of the son/daughter of the 2072 earthquake in the 14 districts affected by the 2072 earthquake. According to the provision that the deceased beneficiary can get a recommendation letter from the concerned Ward/Gaupalika/Municipality, completely damaged earthquake victims' identity card and in case of twin children, one child can study at a military educational institution with concession and one child at full fee. A letter of recommendation from the college stating that the institution has not studied under concession is mandatory should be submitted.
