Nepal Army Scholarship Notice:

Nepal Army, Directorate of Welfare Planning, Force Head, Jangi Adda.

Notice Regarding "Military Welfare Scholarship, Swadesh"

1. Among the various programs run by the Military Welfare Fund, this information has been published for the information of all concerned regarding the provision of Military Welfare Scholarship for the academic session 2077 BS.

2. Scholarship details:

(A) Scholarship amount: A lump sum of Rs. 20,000.- (twenty thousand).

(B) Scholarship recipients: Sons/daughters of Nepal Army retirees and retired soldiers (only one).

(C) Classes to be studied: Studying from class 6 to class 12.

(D) Age of students: 18 years for study up to class 10 and 21 years for class 11/12 till 0774/01/01.

(N) Must be unpaid

3. Students eligible for scholarships

(A) Must be the son/daughter of a retired and retired soldier of the Nepal Army

(B) The scholarship will be awarded only to one child (son/daughter) of the beneficiaries.

(C) 40% of the total number of students studying in community/government schools in the annual examination of 2076 (GPA 1.6) and Students studying in an institutional private school must have passed with an overall GPA of 50% (GPA 2.0).

(D) Must be studying in schools and colleges recognized by the Government of Nepal

(E) In the case of Bahalwala soldiers, only the offspring (son/daughter) duly registered through HR Digitization of the Nepal Army will get this facility.

4. Students who do not qualify for the scholarship

(A) Students studying in colleges/schools run under the auspices of welfare funds (including colleges run under Nepal Army Institute of Health Sciences). If the students are studying in the said colleges/schools for a fee (excluding full or partial concession fee) or studying in the quota of the non-military side, the letter of recommendation given by the concerned must be submitted.

(B) Students who receive "Pradhan Senapati Scholarship" to be distributed from the Welfare Fund

(C) Students who do not submit the application duly and within the stipulated time.

(D) Any 1 (one) descendant of the beneficiaries should not have the facility of study in the educational institutions with Empanelled Agreement at present.

(E) Students studying in foreign schools outside Nepal.

Documents to be submitted along with the application:

For Bahalwala:

  1. Copy of character certificate.
  2. A copy of the letter of credit for the previous year (2076).
  3. Birth certificate or copy of citizenship.
  4. Copy of military identity card.
  5. Copy of marriage registration certificate.

Returned to Retired:

  1. Copy of character certificate.
  2. A copy of the letter of credit for the previous year (2076).
  3. Birth certificate or copy of citizenship.
  4. A copy of the pension lease.
  5. Certificate of Proof of Relationship or Certificate of Descent from the concerned Rural Municipality (Guaplika) / Municipality (Nagarpalika).
  6. Copy of marriage registration certificate.

Note:

  1. While submitting the above-mentioned documents, the details like the name of the students, date of birth, the context in the transcript should be clearly disclosed.
  2. In case of a student studying in class 12 after passing class 11, one of the documents to be submitted along with the application is that he is studying in class 12 after passing class 11. To submit a letter of recommendation. In addition, at the time of receiving the scholarship amount, the percentage of the students studying in that class must be provided and the original copy of the certificate of merit must be provided.
  3. In case of the students who are currently studying in class 12 and have not conducted this year's class 12 examination so far, they should submit the transcript letter of passing class 11 and the recommendation letter of the concerned higher secondary school stating that they are studying in class 12. In addition, at the time of receiving the scholarship amount, it is mandatory to provide a copy of the pass certificate and character certificate of the students studying in that class.
  4. In the case of students who have passed class 8 and are studying in class 9 and are required to participate in the SEE examination, it is not possible to submit the letter of recommendation along with the application. In addition, at the time of receiving the scholarship amount, it is mandatory to provide the percentage certificate and character certificate.
