National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC) Call for Proposal: Students Research Grant Support Programme 2020

NTNC’s annual Student Research Grant Support Programme invites students in the final year towards pursuing their degree in natural resource management, forestry, environmental science, botany, zoology, and other related fields to apply for a research grant to conduct their academic research as required by their academic programme. The research proposals will be on the topics assigned below. The number of awards will be 6 B.Sc. and 12 M.Sc. students. The grant amount will be a maximum NRs. 40,000 for BSc and NRs. 50,000 for MSc level research before tax deduction as per the Government rules. Applicants must be a Nepali citizen studying in institutions in Nepal.

Application Requirements

  • Cover letter (1 page with research title, proposed supervisor, institution, amount requested, statement of interest)
  • Letter of recommendation from the supervisor and head of the campus department
  • A research proposal not exceeding 6 pages (proposal format and guideline is available at www.ntnc.org.np)
  • A recent CV (2 pages max)
