Foreign Employment Board Notice Regarding Participation in the Foreign Employment Offspring Scholarship Program

This notice is published to inform all eligible students studying in any community or institutional school in Nepal who qualify to receive scholarships under the Foreign Employment Offspring Scholarship Program.
This program is intended for children under 18 years of age who are studying up to grade 12 and whose parents have either died, been disabled, or fallen ill while working abroad and have received 100% financial assistance from the Welfare Fund through this Secretariat.
Interested students who meet the qualifications for receiving this scholarship should submit their applications to their respective schools within 60 days (by the end of Ashoj 2081) from the date of publication of this notice, in accordance with the Foreign Employment Offspring Scholarship Operating Procedure, 2080.
After receiving such applications, the respective schools are required to complete the process as per the procedure and recommend the documents to their local level (the education branch designated by the municipality or the Employment Service Center where the Education Committee makes decisions).
This notice is published following the decision of the Director Committee dated 2081/04/24.
