CTEVT Free Classified Scholarship for Pre-Diploma Level 2081

Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Examination Control Office, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur Urgent Notice regarding the Online Application Form for Entrance Examination for the Pre-Diploma Level Classified (Free) Scholarship Quota for the academic session 2081/082!

The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Examination Control Office, announces the necessity for submitting online application forms for admission in the following educational programs at the Pre-Diploma level for the academic session 2081/082. Eligible Nepali citizens who have passed SLC/SEE/Pre-Diploma from government, community, and council-affiliated educational institutions are invited to apply for admission in the classified (free) scholarship quota at affiliated, partnership, technical, and private educational institutions that have received affiliation/approval from the council as per the “Pre-Diploma Level Entrance Examination Conduct, Scholarship Distribution, and Admission Guidelines 2081”. The forms must be submitted properly by Friday, Shrawan 4, 2081. This notice is published for the information of all concerned.

Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications must pay the entrance examination fee online, prioritize the provinces and educational institutions for study, and select the districts for the examination centers while filling the online application form.

1. Information regarding Classified (Free) Scholarships:

Based on the approved quota, the council provides scholarships to Nepali citizens for the Pre-Diploma level educational programs conducted by the council’s affiliated, partnered, community, and private institutions.

Scholarship Details

Programs conducted by the council-level control division, technical division, and community schools with technical education (Tex) division under the council will maintain the classified (free) scholarship quotas as per the decision of the council office.

Based on the total number of seats determined by section 15 (a) of the guidelines, a minimum qualification for enrollment in all educational programs conducted by each affiliated, partnered, technical, and private institutions under the council for the academic session 2080/081 must be maintained at 100%. These seats are divided into two groups at 50-100% as per section 15 (b) and are provided with free (classified) scholarships as follows:

(a) General Group

Seats reserved for the general group will maintain 100% of the allocated seats, providing free (classified) scholarships to eligible Nepali citizens.

(b) Targeted Group

Seats reserved for the targeted group will allocate the specified percentage of seats to eligible Nepali citizens from the targeted categories, providing free (classified) scholarships based on the percentage reserved as per the guidelines.

Required Documents to be Submitted with the Application Form

  1. For Nepali citizens: Scanned copy of citizenship or birth certificate.

  2. For students from government or community schools: Scanned copy of recommendation letter from the respective District Education Office.

  3. For students from council-affiliated schools: Scanned copy of the certificate from the affiliated educational institution.

  4. For students from private schools: Scanned copy of the certificate from the respective private educational institution.

  5. For applicants from reserved categories:

    • Dalit: Scanned copy of recommendation letter from the respective local government office.
    • Indigenous Nationalities: Scanned copy of recommendation letter from the respective local government office.
    • Backward Regions: Scanned copy of recommendation letter from the respective local government office confirming the remoteness.
    • Disabled: Scanned copy of the disability identity card issued by the relevant authority.
    • Madhesi: Scanned copy of recommendation letter from the respective local government office.
    • Tharu: Scanned copy of recommendation letter from the respective local government office.
    • Muslim: Scanned copy of recommendation letter from the respective local government office.
    • Families of Martyrs, Families of Disappeared Individuals, Families of Wounded Warriors, and Conflict Victims: Scanned copy of recommendation letter from the respective local government office confirming the status.
  6. Additional Documents:

    • Passport-sized photo (35x45mm) and signature scan.
    • Scanned copies of other academic certificates or transcripts.
    • For any other required documents, they must be specified and uploaded in the application form.
  7. Submission Guidelines:

    • Ensure all scanned documents are clear and legible.
    • Only submit the necessary documents as listed above.
    • Online application forms must be completed and submitted within the specified time frame. Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted.

Information Regarding Submitting the Application Form:

(a) Applicants for classified (free) scholarships must fill out and submit the Online Application Form within the specified time frame as directed by the Council’s Examination Control Office. The form should prioritize the educational programs and provinces where the applicant wishes to study.

(b) The entrance exam fee of Rs. 500/- can be paid via Connect IPS or direct online banking as directed by the Council’s Examination Control Office.

Steps to Fill and Submit the Form Online with Fee Payment:

  1. Visit the website: Go to www.ctevt.org.np or www.ctevtexam.org.np and press Enter.
  2. Click on Classified Online Form.
  3. Select Pre-Diploma level and click on New User.
  4. Enter your name, address, and mobile number and click on Proceed.
  5. Click on Pay Now to pay your fee through the selected company and click Proceed.
  6. Create your username and password. Use these to access the Classified Scholarship Online Application Form.
  7. Complete the Online Application Form by uploading the necessary scanned documents.

Note: The required documents must be scanned in JPG format and uploaded within the specified size limits:

  • Passport-sized photo (35x45mm): Size - Minimum 8kb, Maximum 50kb
  • Signature scan: Size - Minimum 3kb, Maximum 20kb
  • Other documents: Size - Minimum 80kb, Maximum 300kb

Important Information Regarding the Examination Process

(a) For the fully free entrance examination, questions will be prepared based on the SEE curriculum covering 20 marks for English, 25 marks for Mathematics, and 25 marks for Science and Health, making a total of 70 questions. The exam will be a written test with multiple-choice questions.

(b) As per the guidelines, the questions will be divided into 5 sets.

(c) The total duration of the exam will be 1 hour and 45 minutes.

(d) Candidates must follow the instructions provided on the answer sheet and fill it accordingly.

(e) Candidates must write their answers only on the provided answer sheet. If answers are written elsewhere, they will be invalid.

(f) If candidates are found copying from another candidate, their exam will be canceled.

(g) The answer sheet must be filled in completely using a black gel pen. Each answer must be circled properly, and no additional marks should be made on the answer sheet. Sets A and B will have different question papers, and the candidate must ensure they have the correct answer sheet for their set.

Important Instructions for the Answer Sheet:

  • The answer sheet must be filled out using a black gel pen. Only one correct answer must be completely circled.
  • If more than one answer is circled or if the answer is circled outside the circle, the answer will be invalid.

  • As per Section 3 (b) (2) of the guidelines, the following academic qualifications will be awarded marks for the SEE exam results:

  • Based on SEE Results: SEE results will be published according to the percentage of marks obtained.
  • Minimum GPA Requirement: The minimum GPA required is 2.0 for Science, Mathematics, and English subjects.
  • Publication of Results: SEE results will be published on the Council's website.
  • Application for Re-evaluation: Applications for re-evaluation must be submitted within 15 days of the result publication.

Examination Center, Time, and Other Information:

  • The Examination Control Office will provide the time, date, and examination center information.
  • For Classified (Free) Scholarships: The scholarship will be awarded according to the guidelines, with marks allocated as per the academic qualifications.
  • Submission of Forms: The completed forms must be submitted online.
  • Academic Qualifications: The necessary academic qualifications and other details must be provided as per the requirements.

Result Publication and Admission Instructions

  1. Result Publication:

    • Results will be published on www.ctevtexam.org.np and displayed in affiliated councils and provincial offices. Within 10 days of result publication, the successful candidates must enroll in the specified educational institutions with the necessary academic and citizenship/birth registration certificates.
  2. Additional Information:

    • (a) Students must attend theoretical and practical classes as prescribed by the curriculum. Their cumulative attendance must be submitted to the council.
    • (b) Students on the merit list who are admitted under the fully free quota cannot change their registration after admission.
