Since the Mahakavi Laxmi Prasad Devkota Award for the current fiscal year 2078/79, the Mahakavi Laxmi Prasad Devkota Award will be presented to a total of 5 (five) individuals or organizations who have contributed in the following thematic fields. This notice is published within 30 (thirty) days from the date of publication of the information for the selection of the name of the person or organization. Has been done.

1) Award subject area
A) Poetry: Sfut Kavita and Prabandha Kavya as well as long poems, lyric poems, songs, ghazals etc.
B) Essays: Fine emotional essays, scholarly analytical and research-based critiques, objective and logical essays, intentions, memoirs, autobiographies, interviews, retreats, self-talk, conversations, etc.
C) Prose / Drama: Stories, novels, short plays and plays.
D) Children's Literature / Folklore: Poems, plays, stories, essays, biographies, autobiographies, travelogues and memoirs useful for children as well as studies and research done on them. Collection, editing, singing, recitation of folklore material as well as his research.
E) Language and Literature Service: Creative and intellectual, scholarly, research work and translation and literary journalism done by individuals and organizations serving for the protection and promotion of Nepali languages including Nepali and their literature.
