Notice of Application for Nepal Health Research Council Award 2079: Eligibility and Requirements
The Nepal Health Research Council is set to hold the Ninth National Summit of Health and Population Scientists of Nepal to celebrate its foundation day on April 11-12, 2023. Continuing the tradition, the Council will present awards to Nepali scientists who have made significant contributions to health research. Interested researchers can apply for the award under the following categories:
1. Health Research Award Eligibility:
- The applicant must be a Nepali citizen who has studied in Nepal.
- The Bio-Medical Journal indexed in PubMed should have the most articles published in the last five years (2018-2022).
2. Mrigendra Samjhana Medical Trust Young Health Award (Medical Doctor Category) Eligibility:
- The applicant should be a doctor below 40 years of age, who is a Nepali citizen and has studied in Nepal.
- The Bio-Medical Journal indexed in PubMed should have the most articles published in the last five years (2018-2022).
3. Mrigendra Samjhana Medical Trust Young Health Award (NHRC Staff/Employee Category) Eligibility:
- The applicant must have been continuously working in NHRC for at least one year.
- The researcher must be a Nepali citizen who has studied in Nepal.
- The Bio-Medical Journal indexed in PubMed should have the most articles published in the last five years (2018-2022).
4. Health Research Life Achievement Award (Working in Nepal) Eligibility:
- The applicant must be a Nepali citizen who has reached 60 years of age.
- Health-related research works (Articles in Biomedical Journals) and books should be related to health science.

- Copy of Nepali citizenship
- Personal details (CV)
- Published full papers (Full Paper with PubMed ID/Link/Book Cover Page)
