Climate Launchpad 2018
Climate Launchpad is the world's largest green business idea competition and a platform for clean-tech talent to help them grow sustainable ideas into global business to combat Climate Change. Climate Launchpad is being introduced in Nepal for the first time in 2018. The idea competition in Nepal is organized to select and prepare potentially successful participants for Grand Final to be held in Edinburgh, Scotland in November 2018. The Team Leaders of the three best teams from Nepal will be sponsored (travel and accommodation) to compete against teams from 45 other countries in the Grand Final. The top three teams at the Grand Final will win cash prizes worth up to Euro 10,000 and get access to further investment to launch their businesses. Deadline to apply in Nepal is August 8, 2018 (Shrawan 23, 2075)!
Application Themes
- Any business idea that contributes to the larger goal of Climate Change mitigation and adaptation, especially in the fields of:
- Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Environment and Engineering Services
- Food and Water Resources
- Recycling and Waste Management
- Sustainability of Aviation, Manufacturing, and Transport industries
- Computer/Mobile Applications and Tools related to sectors mentioned above
