The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has recently published the results for the lower secondary level, third category teacher post's open competitive written examination. The exam, a pivotal part of the teacher selection process, took place across all seven provinces on 2081 Baishakh 8.

- Madhesh Province: 1,197 out of 4,585 candidates passed.
- Bagmati Province: 3,832 out of 12,506 candidates passed.
- Gandaki Province: 3,534 out of 11,945 candidates passed.
- Lumbini Province: 10,271 examinees passed.
- Karnali Province: 687 out of 2,641 candidates passed.
